Ed Zobrist, President, Sierra Online, a division of Vivendi Games: Ed Zobrist is responsible for Sierra Online’s game initiatives for console and PC platforms, including publishing FreeStyle Basketball for the U.S. market and the development of titles for Microsoft’s Xbox Live Arcade. Zobrist previously was senior vice president, Global Marketing for Vivendi Games. In this role he was responsible for overseeing worldwide marketing initiatives for brands such as Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Leisure Suit Larry, Empire Earth, SWAT, The Incredible Hulk, Scarface and 50 Cent. Prior to joining Vivendi Games, Zobrist was a founding partner and president of Zono, Inc. and ASAP Games, a consulting and videogame software development company. Among his clients were Electronic Arts, Sony, Sega, Fisher-Price, Universal Studios, PopCap and Disney Interactive. While consulting for Disney Interactive, he led the company’s marketing efforts to achieve three top-10 selling games including the number-one hit, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Previously, Zobrist held several senior level marketing positions for Mattel including director of Marketing, Hot Wheels and senior marketing manager for the Boy’s Toys division. His experience also includes a role as product manager for the Kenner division of General Mills where he led The Real Ghostbusters product line to more than $100 million in sales. Zobrist holds a master's degree in business administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Columbia University.

Alex St. John, co-founder and CEO, WildTangent: Alex St. John is the CEO and co-founder of WildTangent, the leading online game publisher and creators of the WildTangent Games Console, the most ubiquitous gaming platform on the Internet today. Prior to founding WildTangent in 1998, St. John was responsible for Microsoft's multimedia strategy. St. John was one of the early creators of Microsoft's DirectX technology, which become the foundation for all Windows multimedia applications, 3D graphics, media players, as well as thousands of PC and Xbox games. Several books have been written about St. John's exploits at Microsoft including Renegades of the Empire by Michael Drummond, Opening the Xbox by Dean Takahashi, and Masters of Doom by David Kushner. St. John is widely considered to have his finger on the pulse of cutting edge technology trends in the online gaming industry and is a frequent speaker at major media & technology events as well as a monthly columnist for Computer Power User Magazine.

Son Ton, Senior Product Manager, Gaming Group, Qualcomm Internet Services, Qualcomm Incorporated: Son Ton is senior product manager of the Gaming Group for Qualcomm Internet Services (QIS). QIS is the Qualcomm division responsible for the BREW® solution, a family of offerings that includes uiOne™, deliveryOne™, QPoint™ and BREW Signature Solutions as well as the QChat® push-to-talk solution. QIS is chartered with driving the development of next-generation wireless data applications, technologies and value-added services. Since July 2006, Ton has played an integral role within QIS and the Gaming Group, the team chartered with defining and driving the BREW gaming experience as well as ensuring the platform is profitable and viable for game publishers and developers. In his current position, Ton collaborates with key partners in the mobile gaming value chain, including top mobile game publishers and developers to facilitate the production of games for BREW. He also works closely with business development and is involved with technical evangelism as it relates to the BREW mobile gaming space and drives Qualcomm’s next generation gaming service, the BREW Gaming Signature Solution. Before joining Qualcomm, Ton previously held the position of producer and technical director at EA Mobile where he was responsible for bringing the following titles to mobile: EA Sports NBA Live 06, EA Sports NBA Live 07, EA Sports Madden NFL 06, EA Sports Tiger Woods 06, Poppit, Tri-peaks Solitaire, Turbo 21, Word Whomp, Harvest Mania and World Class Solitaire. Prior to EA Mobile, Ton was a senior technical producer at Sony Pictures Mobile where he produced JEOPARDY! 2005, Wheel of Fortune 2005, Wheel of Fortune For Prizes, NYT Word Challenge, Pop&Drop, Strategy Sports: Soccer, Puzzle Poker, Bounce&Slam, and You Got Served. Ton received his Bachelor of Science and Masters in Business Administration from the University of California in Irvine.

Justin Kubiak, Vice President, Marketing, Glu Mobile: As vice president of marketing at Glu, Justin oversees all product management, channel marketing and product marketing initiatives. Since joining the company in 2004 he has managed the launch of several industry hits, including DRIV3R, Deer Hunter, Zuma and Diner Dash. Prior to joining Glu, Justin launched Karaoke Revolution at Konami and managed the ESPN sports product line at Sierra Online.

Dave Laux, Global Executive, Games and Interactive Entertainment, IBM: As the Global Executive for Games and Interactive Entertainment , Dave leads IBM SMB’s efforts in this rapidly growing and strategically important Industry. A long time industry participant (played a lot of games) Dave is responsible for helping Games and Entertainment companies leverage IBM’s strength and assets to reduce expenses while increasing efficiency and profitability. Dave has worked with a number of the largest and leading games developers and publishers all over the world to enhance the overall development, delivery, and operations of their games. Dave has presented at a number of leading Games conferences including The Game Developers Conference, Austin Games Conference, Digital Hollywood, China Joy, E3, Leipzig Games Conference, GCDC and many others. He has also been quoted on games topics in The Wall Street Journal, Gamasutra, Game Daily, Marketwire, Game Planet, AfterTV, cNet and several other publications. Currently, there are a number of Dave’s podcasts on the games industry and technologies available on the web. Dave actively encourages industry interest and participation among High School girls and minority students through the presentation of IBM Future of Games program at High Schools throughout the community. Dave joined IBM in 1994 to help form a new sales organization, which grew in sales from $25 Million to $1.6 Billion in 1998. Dave went on to lead a national Telecommunications Sales Team for IBM and IBM’s GMB ‘NetGen’ Business Unit. In 2000 Dave joined IBM’s Venture Development Organization to explore new emerging opportunities for IBM, as well as managing IBM’s relationship with several key Venture Capital Firms. Dave was an Investment Banker and Retail Broker for several National and Regional Investment Banks and Brokerage firms prior to joining IBM. He also started and managed several successful entrepreneurial endeavors.

Alexander K. Marquez, Director, Strategic Investments, Intel Capital, Intel Corporation: Alexander is responsible for Intel Capital’s strategic investment strategies and related investments in the areas of Digital Media & Entertainment, part of Intel Capital’s Digital Home fund. Currently, Alexander devotes much of his time to defining strategies in Premium Content Services & Distribution and next generation advertising models. Previously, Alexander was responsible for Intel Capital’s investments and related strategies in Education/E-Learning. Some of his investments include Zinio – provider of electronic magazines, Envivio – a leading provider of H264 systems, Gametrust – best known for the Gameframe platform for enabling tournament based gaming, Akella – the leading gaming developer/publisher in Moscow and BlackArrow and early stage company developing interactive television advertising solutions. Prior to joining Intel Capital, Alexander served as technical advisor to the senior vice president of Intel’s Interactive Media Services division where he advised on strategy and media investments. Alexander also served as controller for Intel’s Content Services division where he oversaw financial aspects of the division, including numerous investments in Europe, Japan, Asia, and Latin America. Alexander joined Intel Corporation in 1994 where he held various management roles prior to joining Intel Capital. Alexander holds a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he is also Chairman of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Visitors Board and serves as an advisor to the Entertainment Engineering program. He received his Masters of Business Administration from Purdue University.

Matt Turetzky, VP, Mobile and New Platform Games, RealNetworks, Inc.: Matt Turetzky, Vice President of Mobile and New Platform Games for RealNetworks, is responsible for Real’s global strategy of delivering casual games to mobile phones, handheld, consoles, iTV and other non-PC platforms. Prior to joining Real, Matt held a variety of roles at Mattel across strategic planning, business development and marketing. In his last role there, he led the interactive games and youth electronics business, which grew to $150mm under his leadership. During his tenure at Mattel, Matt brought the Barbie, HotWheels and UNO brands to new gaming platforms. Earlier in his career, he held strategic planning at Disney Consumer Products and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Matt received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Williams College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
