Buckley Collum has been a part of the computer graphics industry for almost twen ty years, living and working on four different continents and gaining extensive experience in visual effects and animation for film, broadcast, and gaming. Buckley served as co-producer of the animated film Valiant, the first animated feature film from Vanguard Animation, which was produced in the US and UK. Buckley had previously helped found MenaceFX, which supplied visual effects to the film, broadcast and game industries, before he and his partner joined with the producer of Shrek to define and build Vanguard Animation. Buckley had previously served in supervising technical roles at Weta in New Zealand and Dream Picture Studios in Tokyo, using his problem solving skills (primarily in effects, rendering, and compositing) to deliver visual effects and animation content, while also helping to establish production tracking tools and pipeline workflows. Buckley received his Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, along with certifications in bioengineering and film studies. He was an early employee at Alias|Wavefront, defining product direction and liaising with customers to find ways of delivering ever more complex visuals.
Robert Walsh, CEO and Co-founder of Krome Studios: Robert, the CEO of Krom e Studios has been at the helm since its foundation and has overseen the success of the company on many levels. Mr Walsh currently manages a talented staff of over 300 full time game developers, working across three states on a total of five project teams. He has strategically forged solid relations and negotiated major deals with several international video game publishers such as Lucas Arts, Electronic Arts, Konami, Ubisoft, Disney Interactive, Mattel, Vivendi and THQ. With a collection of high profile games already published, Robert currently oversees titles being released for Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, PSP and Wii. Mr. Walsh regularly attends and speaks at a variety of conferences and has previously served on a number of boards of Games Development associations. A Certified Practicing Accountant, Robert also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of Queensland.
Bhuvan Lall, President (Global), MCORP Global: An Award winning Documentary Filmmaker and soon to be published novelist, Bhuvan Lall is the President (Global) Entertain ment Division of MCORP Global, a US$ 2.1 billion Indian Information, Communication and Entertainment Multinational. MCORP Global owns a major Telco in India (Spice Telecom) and is the first Indian manufacturer of Cell Phones under the brand name of "Spice". The company is in pre production of the US$ 120 million International motion picture "Buddha" and has business interests in Production, Distribution and Exhibition in Hollywood as well as in India. The company also owns the largest multiplex in North India Spice World with 9 screens and is now launching Mobile TV in India. Prior to joining MCORP Global, Bhuvan Lall founded, established and managed his own International Production and Distribution venture Lall Entertainment. Earlier at 34, Lall was named Executive Director of the "Indian Broadcasting Foundation" (IBF), the trade organization of Broadcasters in India, a position he held for three years (2000 - 03). At 30, he founded, "Empire Entertainment Pvt. Ltd", a strategic advisory company specializing in the Indian convergence and entertainment industries. In addition, Lall also served as the Senior Vice President of a publicly listed Indian media company - Srishti Videocorp. Lall began his career by launching his first enterprise as an entrepreneur "Dream Factory International", an international documentary film production company. Bhuvan Lall is closely connected to policy making in the Government of India and was appointed a Member of the Planning Commissions working group for Indias 10th five year plan (2002 - 07), on Information & Broadcasting. He was also invited to draft Indias Convergence Legislation, The Communication Bill. Lall was earlier appointed an "International Consultant" to the 35th International Film Festival of India in Goa (2004). Bhuvan Lall plays a leadership role in major industry associations and serves as the co-chair of the Assochams Entertainment Industry Leaders Council of India. He is also the founder of Animation Producers Association of India. Lall was elected Member of the International Television Academy (Emmy Awards Council) in 2000 and he has also been the Indian Representative of NATPE, since 1997. Bhuvan Lall has been invited to lecture at Anderson School of Management, UCLA and has been a Visiting Professor at Indian Institute of Mass Communication and a Guest Lecturer at the Jamia Mass Communication Research Center. A professionally trained film director and scriptwriter with a Masters in Mass Communication,, Lall produced and directed thirty five Documentary and Short films on Indian subjects including "The Coal War", and "Moving Pictures", for International as well as Indian TV networks. Lalls other work "The Song of the Earth" was screened in 22 International TV and Film Festivals. As an International Journalist and Writer his research interests are the global Entertainment Economy and Ancient Civilizations. He has published three reports and contributed over a thousand columns and articles in international journals on the Global Media & Entertainment Industry. Bhuvan Lall is a recipient of a first class Masters Degree in Mass Communication (Film, TV & Radio Production) from the Mass Communication Research Center, New Delhi and he also earned a Bachelors Degree in Sociology from the University of Delhi. A native of New Delhi, Bhuvan Lall is absorbed in spiritual studies, landscape photography, poetry and the opera. He is also an ardent Polo and Chess enthusiast.
Kelly Kiernan has worked with directors and producers including Steven Spielberg, Qu entin Tarantino, Tony Scott, Brian Singer, and Nicholas Roeg; her film credits include Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Apt Pupil, and the Steven-Spielberg produced documentary A Price for Peace. Kiernan has over 19 years of on-set experience around the world. Her work has taken her to four continents: Asia, North and South America, and Europe. Her favorite role has been as a troubleshooter on especially difficult and troubled films. In addition to her film experience, Ms. Kiernan also produced the Genesis Award-winning childrens television series Animal Rescue Kids, and has worked on numerous productions as a producer, line producer, production manager, and assistant director on feature films, television series, music videos and national commercials. She has also consulted for various global companies in management, production, logistics, budgeting and scheduling. Kelly started working with New Regency Pictures on the Tony Scott production Man on Fire, starring Denzel Washington. Kelly has since worked on New Regency films including Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Just My Luck, Big Mommas House 2, and REXX the Firehouse Dog; she also worked on the spoof comedies Date Movie and Epic Movie. Most recently Kelly worked as a production executive on Shutter, shot entirely in Japan, and is currently in production on Mirrors, which is shooting in Romania. Prior to her work with New Regency, Kiernan was a creative producer for Walt Disney in TV animation, where she used her creative and production background in order to develop projects with award winning writers and directors. In addition, Ms. Kiernan teaches line producing at UCLA extension; lectures at various universities and organizations; and has served as a keynote speaker for UCLA in Japan. Ms. Kiernan is a member of the Directors Guild of America. She is a graduate of USC and completed the Mass Media Communication program at Stanford University.
Gina Fegan, BA, BAI, C.Eng, MIEI, Eur.Ing, Chief Executive, South East Media Network (SEMN), established the digital content sector consortium for the South East of England in 2005 backed by a strong board of regional companies such as Microsoft, Nokia, Reed Elsevier, ITV, Epic in August 2005. The digital content sector comprises 22,000 companies from film, TV, mobile content, music, games, e-learning, e-publishing, software, web applications worth £8.8billion a year to the economy and SEMNs mission is to grow global companies. Gina took on the role of setting up South East Media Network following three years as the founding Chief Executive of the lottery backed regional screen agency Screen South. During which time she worked with over 1,000 filmmakers and supported projects which have gone on to win over 60 national and international awards, including BAFTAs and an Oscar © Prior to Screen South she spent two years as Director of the Kent International Film Festival (October 2000 and 2001) and Manager of Cinema 3 in Canterbury. During this time she also set up Kent Hothouse a media development agency. With a background in construction, structural engineering and project management Gina has produced low budget drama, was the coordinator of the first LA Shorts Fest and subsequently spent a year in Los Angeles developing two feature films. Her production experience and six years in the North of France led her to be instrumental in forming the Nord-Pas de Calais Film Commission based in Lille. She also has experience in education as Head of Languages for SUPTERCOM in Arras, and examiner for the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce, Lille. Gina founded www.digitaldelicatessen.co.uk the online community for creative professionals, is on the artistic advisory board of TAPS (Television Arts Performance Showcase), the advisory board of NFTS (National Film & Television School) Short Course Factory, the Digital Hollywood, University Project, Board of Advisors, was a founding trustee of the arts based regeneration programme the Creative Foundation in Folkestone, is a member of BAFTA and is passionate about empowering creative talent so continues to executive produce promising feature films
