Ed Anuff is co-founder, president and CEO of Widgetbox. Prior to co-founding Wid getbox, Mr. Anuff was the co-founder of Epicentric and served as the companys first CEO, growing the company to over $40 million in annual revenues, with 300+ employees worldwide. Epicentric was acquired by Vignette in late 2002 and Mr. Anuff joined its leadership team. Prior to Epicentric, Mr. Anuff was the Director of Product Management at Wired Digital (HotWired) where he launched the HotBot search engine, managing partnerships with Inktomi, Microsoft, BellSouth and others. Prior to Wired Digital, he was VP of Product Marketing at Motion Works. Mr. Anuff joined Motion Works after the company acquired Vision Software, a multimedia tools start-up he founded in 1992. A graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Mr. Anuff has contributed to publications such as Wired magazine, EAI Journal, and the Web Services Journal and has spoken at numerous conferences
Adi Sideman, CEO, Oddcast: As the founder and CEO of Oddcast, Adi Sideman is one of the most notable entrepreneurs in todays new media industry. Since he founded Oddcast and introduced the novelty of avatars to the world in 1999, Mr. Sideman has successfully pioneered the industry and established Oddcast as one of the fastest growing technology companies on the east coast. Under his strong vision and leadership, Oddcast has grown to be one of the leaders in the user generated media and talking avatar technology markets. Oddcast technology powers Fortune 500 brands such as Coca Cola, McDonalds and American Express to name a few, as well as thousands of small businesses and millions of consumers through its innovative avatar platform. As an evangelist of avatar technology and successful entrepreneur himself, Mr. Sideman has been featured on numerous media, including Wall Street Journal, Inc.com, Entreprenure.com, and the New York Times. Prior to Oddcast, Mr. Sideman headed Sqeeze, a company that provided Web Development service to Fortune 500 companies, including Starbucks and Con Edison. Mr. Sideman also produced more than thirty online games, including HBOs Sex in the City, The Sopranos, and Warner Brothers The Matrix game. In 1996, Mr. Sideman produced the first animated ads on AOL. Mr. Sideman holds an MPS degree from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and an undergraduate degree from NYU in Film and Television
Jack Philbin, Co-Founder and President of Vibes Media: Vibes Media President Ja ck Philbin has been a mobile marketing pioneer and voice for the industry since founding Vibes Media in 1998. An expert in business development, consumer marketing and program/client management, Jack has been instrumental in building text messaging and proving its value as a successful and innovative marketing vehicle. Jack has helped to manage programs with the NBA, NHL and MLB, and in 2002 helped to set up the first concert to utilize the Text-2-Screen technology, allowing audience members to interact with other fans via text messages. In 2006, Jack won the Crains Chicago Business "40 under 40" award. In 2005 the Mobile Marketing Association honored Jack as the winner of its "Outstanding Achievement in Mobile Marketing" for his leadership in the establishment of industry standards, and for the role he played conceiving and coordinating a tsunami relief effort where people could make donations directly through their cellular phones.
Michael Chang, Founder/Vice President of Marketing, Greystripe: Michael is resp onsible for Greystripe's market vision. He was most recently an Associate at Incubic Venture Capital and was responsible for reviewing potential investments in Internet and software companies. He has an MBA fromDuke University's Fuqua School of Business and five years of engineering and marketing product management with SAN pioneer Gadzoox Networks. At Gadzooxhe was responsible for the Microsoft partnership strategy and was the project manager for the COMPAQ Fibre Channel Hub which generated revenues of over $65 million. Michael also has a BS in EE from Carnegie Mellon University.
Joyce A. Schwarz is an author/speaker/consultant and one of the leaders in th e emerging entertainment and media arena. She heads JCOM, a new product launch and branding consulting firm located in Marina Del Rey, California. Joyce has created marketing and advertising campaigns for more than 100 consumer and B2B technologies and products ranging from emusic.com to projects for Philips, France Telecom & AT&T. She combines more than 20 years experience in advertising and marketing for international ad agencies such as Foote Cone & Belding with a masters degree in film from USC and extensive production experience in film, television, video and interactive. She wrote "Reinventing Hollywood" for the NAB in 1992 and then co-wrote "Multimedia: Gateway to the Next Millennium" in 1993, "How to Break Into the New Hollywood" in 1995. Her latest book is "Cutting the Cord: Guide to Going Wireless" Que Publishing, June 2002. Schwarz is well known as a business writer and colu! mnist for more than 150 articles in such publications as: Business 2.0, Conferenza, Digitrends.net, 'Christian Science Monitor", 'Sales and Marketing' (SAM), LA Times and more. She was the chair and organizer for the first Paris, France Internet/ITV conference from 1995-1997, Digital Day LA , 1993-1996 and is a popular keynote speaker at such conferences as the Invention Convention and the San Diego Computer Fair. She specializes in developing partnerships and alliances for emerging entertainment and new technologies.
