Jason Fisher, VP of Production, ABC Studios: Jason Fisher was recently appointed Vice President of Production at ABC Studios. Jason is also a well-known TV Producer in Los Angeles. Last year, Jason produced the ABC comedy "Big Day". He also produced the ABC sitcom “Rodney” as well as “Hope & Faith”, starring Kelly Ripa and Faith Ford, shot in New York City. In addition to sitcoms and single-camera comedies, Jason Produces documentaries, variety specials and clip shows through his Production Company, Go Fish Productions. He Executive Produced “Movie Club with John Ridley” for AMC. Described as “Ebert & Roeper” meets “Politically Incorrect” this irreverent movie review series begins its 2nd season after the New Year. Other Producing highlights include “The Bernie Mac show”(Fox), According to Jim”(ABC) and “The Gregory Hines Show”(CBS). Jason also worked for Turner Television as the Vice President of Production, overseeing all single-camera and multi-camera comedy production. During his tenure, Jason oversaw production of 6 pilots and 2 series for the WB. Jason is a member of the Directors Guild of America(DGA) and the Producers Guild of America(PGA)

Conrad Riggs has worked with Mark Burnett since 1998 handling the United States and international business development, business affairs, network agreements and other distribution arrangements, sponsor/advertiser relations, and related matters for Mark Burnett Productions, a leading content production company. Among his many precedent setting accomplishments is the deal between Mark Burnett Productions and CBS Television for Survivor. It became the most watched summer series ever and, thirteen editions later, continues to rank among top programs in American television . He and Burnett also successfully reintroduced sponsorships, product placement and marketing tie-ins as an integral part of television, internet and wireless content, garnering 24 Emmy nominations since 2001. Mark Burnett was named the #1 Most Valuable Player by TV Guide and featured in Time Magazine's "Top 100 Most Influential People in the World Today." Mr. Riggs serves as a co-executive producer on Survivor and other productions, such as The Apprentice (NBC), Rock Star (CBS and VH1), The Contender (ESPN), Gold Rush (<http://aol.com/>aol.com) and On The Lot (FOX and <http://thelot.com/>thelot.com). Mr. Riggs graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Applied Science and received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois. He lives in California and enjoys tennis and surfing.

Virginia M. Turezyn
joined American Capital in April 2006 as Managing Director of the Technology Group. She is currently Co-Head of the group and runs the Palo Alto office. Ms. Turezyn has over 24 years of experience as a technology investor in areas that include consumer internet, digital media, software and communications. Previously she served as Managing Director of Constellation Ventures, a digital media fund which is affiliated with Bear Stearns. Earlier, Ms. Turezyn co-founded and was a Managing Director of Infinity Capital and Information Technology Ventures. She also worked for 12 years at Morgan Stanley as a Vice President in the Venture Capital Group where she opened and established the Firm’s west coast presence and practice. Ms. Turezyn is currently on the Board of Geosign and is involved with investments in HomeAway, CreditCards.com and Coghead as well. Ms. Turezyn has been recognized as one of the smartest women in the Money Business by Money magazine and has been on the Forbes Midas List. Presently, at American Capital, Ms. Turezyn is focused on technology venture and buyouts, industry aggregation and innovative digital media transactions.

Roy Salter, Principal, The Salter Group: Mr. Salter is a Principal based in the Los Angeles office of The Salter Group where he directs the firm’s overall practice and project management efforts. The Salter Group is an independent financial and strategic advisor specializing in several industry sectors including Entertainment & Media, Life Sciences & Health Care and Telecom & Media Tech. Prior to The Salter Group, Mr. Salter was a Principal and Managing Director with the investment bank Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin, where he co-managed the firm's global industry group practices including, Entertainment & Media, Health Care, Telecom-Media-Technology and Diversified Industries between 1988 and 2003. Therein, Mr. Salter co directed the development and operating methods associated with the firm's industry groups. Further, Mr. Salter directly managed the valuation and transactional activities of the firm's entertainment and media industry practice, and led the development of methodologies and systems to evaluate entertainment and media properties. Mr. Salter frequently lectures on a variety of media and entertainment corporate finance subjects. Mr. Salter has taught MBA courses in the Anderson School of Business at UCLA on the subjects of business valuation and business-plan development. Mr. Salter has taught similar courses in the Harvard Business School, California Institute of Technology, the European Media Business School and other venues. In addition, Mr. Salter has authored a text on the subject of valuing media and entertainment industry investments published by Warren Publications. Mr. Salter is a member of the Board of Directors of California United Bank. In addition, Mr. Salter is a founder and board Principal of Royalty Review Council, an independent music royalty administration company. Prior to Houlihan Lokey, Mr. Salter was a Vice President with Wells Fargo Capital Markets, Inc., where he provided mezzanine financing and M&A services to select bank clients. Previous to Wells Fargo Capital Markets, Mr. Salter was a Vice President in Well's Fargo's Commercial Banking Group focusing on providing loans to middle-market companies in Southern California. Mr. Salter attended California State University at Northridge where he earned a B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Business Economics and Investment Management, and Loyola Marymount University where he earned an M.B.A.

Greg Martin is a Partner with Redpoint Ventures in Los Angeles, focusing on information technology, communications and digital media investments in Southern California. Prior to joining Redpoint, Greg was an Associate with Brentwood Venture Capital, a firm he joined in 1999. Greg is a Director/Board Observer of the following Redpoint portfolio companies: Leadpoint, WebVisible, Networks-in-Motion, TelASIC Communications, SOA Software, Simula Labs, and Lead Technology Solutions. Prior to joining Brentwood Venture Capital, Greg worked with an Angel Investor focusing on early-stage Internet and telecommunications investments. Previously, Greg was an Investment Banker with Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette's Technology Group in Menlo Park and before that with Smith Barney in their International M&A and Cross Border Transactions Group. Greg has also owned and operated a high-end men's clothing franchise in the Los Angeles area. Greg currently serves on the Board of the Los Angeles Venture Association (LAVA) and is an Advisory Board member of the Tech Coast Angels and the San Diego Venture Group. Greg received his M.B.A. with High Honors from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA where Greg was a Carter Scholar and a Venture Fellow. Greg also holds a Bachelors of Commerce degree, with a major in Information Systems and Accounting, from the University of Calgary.

Mark Mangiola:
Venture Partner, Canaan Partners, Menlo Park: Mark Mangiola joined Canaan in 2001 after spending over 20 years in the cable and broadband industry. At Canaan, Mark has leveraged his network to fill key executive slots at portfolio companies as well as introduce portfolio companies to larger enterprises thereby helping to build out the sales process. Prior to Canaan, Mark served as CEO of @Home Solutions, a division of Excite@Home. He was previously the President and CEO of Positive Communications and an Executive Vice President with KBLCOM/Time Warner. Mark sits on the boards of Ellacoya and Zolo.

Mark Kapczynski has a successful track record as a serial entrepreneur, chief executive and media industry expert. His current venture, Kontrol Media Corp., is an idea incubator for startups and senior professionals in the media and technology markets including Web 2.0, mobile, and television. Prior to that, he was founder and CEO of MESoft, a media and entertainment software company, for which Kapczynski raised two rounds of seed and venture capital funding exceeding $8MM. Under his leadership, the company also grew its distribution to a global level and partnered with leading IT companies, such as IBM, Sun and AMD, and media companies that include Avid, Ascent Media and Sony. Additionally, he received a patent for a digital media workflow process. From 1995 to 2002, Kapczynski worked at Microsoft Corporation as their Director of Worldwide Media & Entertainment Solutions Group. During that time, he worked with numerous digital media and internet start-ups such as Homestore (now Move.com), Movielink, and MeTV. Mark Kapczynski got his first taste at being an entrepreneur in 1993 when he founded Digital Genesis-a pioneer in the internet/e-commerce space-which was sold to publicly-traded Netgateway, Inc. (NGWY, now IIG) three years later. Mr. Kapczynski graduated from UCLA film school and continues to be active in multiple industry associations that span media, mobile telecom, technology, and Internet Web 2.0. In his free time, Mr. Kapczynski enjoys car racing and playing the drums.
