Greg Moyer,
General Manager, VOOM HD Networks, Rainbow Media: As general manager of VOOM HD Networks, Greg Moyer oversees the day-to-day operations of VOOM HD Networks' 15 high definition channels and directs all efforts as they relate to program development, production, scheduling and marketing. The VOOM HD Networks are the largest and most diverse suite of high definition channels available anywhere. Produced exclusively in true high definition and 5.1 Dolby digital surround sound for distribution in the U.S. through satellite and cable operators, the VOOM HD Networks carry programming in categories as diverse as sports, movies, fashion, music and art. Previously, as president, regional programming for Rainbow Media Holdings LLC, Mr. Moyer managed all operations, strategic planning and business development for the company's regional programming which then included News 12 Networks and MetroChannels - Metro Traffic & Weather, MetroTV and MetroStories - that, together, were a complement of news, information, and entertainment channels serving the greater New York viewing area. Mr. Moyer joined Rainbow Media in January 1999 from Discovery Communications, Inc., where he served as chief creative officer. Mr. Moyer rose to that position during a 13-year tenure at Discovery, during which he oversaw the rapid growth of Discovery Channel and The Learning Channel, two of the world's most respected and successful cable networks. He also spearheaded the development of Discovery Channel Pictures, Discovery's global initiatives and its active retailing and interactive divisions. Mr. Moyer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in media studies from Bucknell University. He is a member of the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing (CTAM), and both PROMAX and the Broadcast Designers' Association (BDA).

Jack Buser, Director, Worldwide Technology Evangelist, Consumer Division, Dolby Laboratories: As Director, Worldwide Technology Evangelist for the Consumer Division at Dolby Laboratories, Buser is responsible for ensuring Dolby is an essential part of the world's best entertainment technology. He works directly with hardware manufacturers and content developers in the consumer electronics, gaming, broadcast and mobile industries to support their adoption and implementation of Dolby technologies. Since he joined Dolby in 1998, he has directed both the Consumer Electronics and Gaming market segments, where he oversaw the company's key relationships with developers and licensees. During this time, he drove successful partnerships with the world's leading game developers, game console makers, HD-DVD and Blu-ray hardware manufacturers and entertainment studios. Buser holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois with a focus on audio synthesis.



Brett Gaines, Vice President of Strategic Business Development, Silicon Image, Inc.; Member of the Board, HDMI Licensing, LLC: As Vice President of Strategic Business Development at Silicon Image, the parent company of HDMI Licensing, LLC, Gaines is responsible for new and existing standards-related activities, strategic relationships, and business development in emerging markets, including communications with Silicon Image about next-generation video standards and bringing next generation HDMI technology to China. In prior roles at Silicon Image, Gaines was president of PanelLink Cinema, LLC, where he was responsible launching the PanelLink Cinema Partners initiative, designed to drive interoperability among and ensure the availability of premium content to consumer electronics devices from diverse manufacturers worldwide. Prior to assuming his post at PanelLink Cinema, LLC, he was president of HDMI Licensing, LLC, a subsidiary of Silicon Image responsible for all administrative and licensing aspects of the HDMI specification. Gaines was instrumental in the formation of the HDMI working group that eventually led to creation of the HDMI specification. He also held business development and corporate development roles where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions and select technology licensing initiatives.

Eddie Taylor joins DisplaySearch as Vice President of TV Market Research and TV Team Leader after eight years at Sony Electronics in their display and TV businesses. Most recently, he was in charge of Business Planning and Operations within Sony's TV group where he had responsibility for pricing, demand forecasting and supply chain planning. He managed business planning and operations for nine different TV technology categories and played a critical role in launching the BRAVIA and SXRD sub-brands. During his tenure at Sony, he also managed Sony's relationships with traditional retail channels, IT distribution/reseller channels and large OEM customers in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Chile. At DisplaySearch, Eddie will be responsible for DisplaySearch's suite of TV reports which continue to grow in terms of regional coverage, granularity and frequency. He will also play a critical role in DisplaySearch's TV-related event and consulting businesses. Eddie graduated from the Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies at the University of California at San Diego, worked and studied in Japan and Korea and is conversational in both Japanese and Korean. He is also on the Board of Directors at the San Diego World Trade Center.

Richard E. Doherty is the Director of Technology Strategy for the Consumer Media Technology Group at Microsoft, and is currently working on the future of entertainment at Microsoft. Richard serves as a Founder of the AACS Content Protection group and serves as a member of the Steering Committee of the DVD Forum, where he is working towards enabling legal copying of movies from optical discs onto other digital entertainment devices. Richard works with major studio partners and manufacturers in designing products and developing strategies for enhanced online delivery of entertainment and driving advanced interactivity on today’s HD DVD titles as part of the overall strategy of digital entertainment delivery on the numerous platforms of Microsoft devices and technologies. Prior to joining Microsoft, Doherty was the managing director of Blu-ray and Professional A/V at Panasonic Hollywood Laboratory. Additionally, Doherty has had engineering, management and marketing roles in several companies, including the HD post production software companies Cineform and Zodo, and as founder of the film matchback software company FilmMatch and Silerity, a company that delivered datapath optimization solutions for chip design. Doherty is also an award-winning film director, with a dozen film festival awards. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology, and an MFA in Film and Television Production from the University of Southern California.
