Vince Vittore is a senior analyst in Yankee Group’s Enabling Technologies Service Provider group with an expertise in broadband solutions. Vittore covers several areas within the broadband access market, tracking both fiber- and copper-based technologies. In the fiber space, Vittore examines topics ranging from the adoption of broadband passive optical network (BPON) and gigabit passive optical network (GPON) to the emergence of new business models created by high-bandwidth technologies. Vittore provides comprehensive coverage of DSL, including ADSL, ADSL2+ and VDSL2. He also has a heavy concentration on the IPTV segment. Before joining Yankee Group, Vittore was the executive editor of Telephony magazine in Chicago, where he covered the access market as well as independent telcos. He focused on topics and issues related to Network Access, CPE and the IPTV market. He was also a regular contributor to Wireless Review and headed up Telephony’s Access Edge e-newsletter. Additionally, he served as editor of The Independent, a regular supplement to Telephony focused on the rural telco market. Prior to Telephony, Vittore was an editor with Cable World magazine. Vittore holds a B.A. degree in journalism and political science from Indiana University.

Fred Diblasio, Vice-President Content & Enhanced Services, TELUS: In his current position as VP - Content, Fred is responsible for new media, business strategy and operations for content TELUS-wide. Prior to this appointment, he served as Managing Director – Blaylock & Partners, a NY-based boutique investment bank. As senior relationship officer, Fred managed large telecom and media clients including Comcast and Time Warner in addition to working with a number of large NY-based private equity investors. Fred was also VP – Strategic Development for AT&T Broadband. In this capacity, he managed the company’s strategy, corporate development and programming activities. Fred graduated from Cambridge University with a Masters degree.










Ray Sokola, Chief Technology Officer, Connected Home Solutions, Motorola, Inc.: Ray Sokola is chief technology officer (CTO) for Motorola's Connected Home Solutions business. In this position, Ray leads the Connected Home Solutions technology team to drive profitable growth through visible technology and innovation leadership, IP creation and timely integration of new technologies that create new business opportunities. A 26-year Motorolan, Ray previously held the position of corporate vice president and chief technology officer of the Integrated Electronics Systems Sector of Motorola. Prior to that role, he was general manager of Motorola's Telematics Group, which supplied the in-vehicle equipment for OnStar and other security and information services for drivers. In addition, he was general manager of the ceramic filter business, and spent his first 10 years at Motorola developing cellular mobile and handset technology. Ray holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Delaware. A recipient of 16 patents, he has been awarded three Motorola Patent of the Year Awards and received Motorola's Distinguished Innovator Award.



Matt Cuson, VP of Marketing, Minerva Networks: Mr. Cuson brings over 25 years of marketing experience spanning consumer, enterprise, software, systems and web applications markets. Prior to Minerva, Mr. Cuson consulted with both start-ups and established companies to define product roadmaps, launch new products, and develop effective positioning for entering new markets. Mr. Cuson started his marketing career with Hewlett-Packard where he launched the first LaserJet printer into the European market. After stints in the corporate strategic marketing group and driving HP's early efforts in the desktop publishing market, Matt left HP to join Adaptec. Matt managed Adaptec's first major company acquisition and grew the business nearly tenfold in just two years. Matt holds a BA degree from the University of California, San Diego in Management Science with a minor in Biology.






Stuart Taylor, Managing Director, North American Mobile Segment, Internet Business Solutions Group, Cisco Systems Inc.: Stuart Taylor leads the North American Mobile segment within the Cisco Systems Internet Business Solutions Group (IBSG). He heads a team of senior advisors drawn from the industry and the major management consulting firms who provide trusted, independent advice on a non-fee basis to senior business executives from Cisco’s largest mobile service providers. As trusted advisors, the team is responsible for helping customers to improve profitability through driving new services for top-line growth, improving go-to-market approaches, and creating operational efficiencies through productivity initiatives. In his role, Mr. Taylor leads major customer engagements with his team and is able to draw on a global team of consultants and solution specialists. In addition, his team links to other Cisco teams to create effective end-to-end IP solutions that drive customer success. Mr. Taylor brings a wealth of experience on key industry issues based on his experience with mobile, wireline and internet players in North America, Europe and Asia. Before joining Cisco, Mr. Taylor was with Accenture based in Boston and London, where he was Partner in their Communications & High Tech Strategy Practice. He brings over 13 years of experience focused on strategy, corporate development, business unit strategy, M&A and operational improvement with large mobile and wireline operators and high technology clients. A partial list of client include: Sprint-Nextel; Cingular; Verizon; AT&T; Telecom Italia Mobile; BT; Sonera; Teleonor Mobile and SK Telecom. He is a frequent speaker at industry events and has produced thought leadership material in the areas of Customer Loyalty in the Wireless Industry, Customer Self-Service in the Communication Industry, eMarketing, eCommerce, Broadband Sales & Marketing and Corporate Sales in the Wireless Industry. Born in Canada, Stuart Taylor holds an MBA from the London Business School and a Masters of Applied Science and Bachelors of Science (Hons) degrees from the University of Toronto. He currently resides with his wife and two children in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Meredith Flynn-Ripley, Chief Executive Officer, Integra5: Meredith is a 20-year software industry veteran whose career spans a wide range of executive and leadership positions in the broadband infrastructure and applications space. Prior to joining Integra5, Meredith served as president & CEO of three private software companies in the Boston area: Stargus, which was acquired by C-COR, Seaport Software Solutions, which was acquired by Softricity, and Into Networks. Before her tour on the broadband supplier side, Meredith worked with several telecom providers. She was a founding member of Road Runner, the high-speed data joint venture of Time Warner, MediaOne (now Comcast), Microsoft and Compaq (now HP), where she served as vice president of corporate development and vice president of product management and affiliate relations. She also served as vice president of product development at MediaOne Broadband Internet Services, and as head of content strategy for US WEST Communications’ Interactive Television group. In her early career, Meredith pioneered the interactive media and technology space at Ogilvy & Mather Interactive, working with clients such as American Express, General Foods and AT&T in the online and multimedia arenas. In 2006, Meredith was named one of the “Top Women in Technology” by CableWorld and “Executive of the Year” by the Mass Technology Leadership Council.
