David Berkowitz, Director of Emerging Media, 360i: David Berkowitz is Director of Emerging Media for 360i, leveraging his insight into the forefront of media trends to deliver strategic results for 360i's clients. Every Tuesday, he pens the Search Insider column for MediaPost, with over 100 articles published to date. Prior to 360i, he served as director of marketing for Viewpoint's rich media advertising group Unicast and search engine marketing firm iCrossing. Previously, with research firm eMarketer, he interviewed 175 executives, authors, and analysts on the cutting edge of technology and business. His writing has also appeared in DM News, MarketingProfs, iMedia Connection, and other publications. Jason Klein is President and co-CEO of Special Ops Media, a full-service interactive agency he co-founded in 2002 with Chairman and co-CEO Christian Anthony. He is expert in online marketing & strategy, online media (planning & buying), creative services and online publicity. Mr. Klein’s passion for and experience in the entertainment industry has spurred Special Ops to lend its expertise to both mainstream and independent cinema, with industry clients including Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Lionsgate Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment. Mr. Klein regularly speaks on interactive and digital marketing at international film festivals and conferences such as the 2006 Sundance Film Festival, and has appeared on CNBC. He is active in several non-profit ventures, including Scenarios USA, an organization supporting young filmmakers seeking to better their communities. This year, OMMA Magazine ranked Jason as one of ten “Rising New Media Stars.” In 2004, Mr. Klein was named in Variety’s annual Indie 50 list as one of the “top movers and shakers” in independent film. Mr. Klein graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University in 2000 with a degree in biomedical ethics and philosophy, and later attended medical school at Columbia University. He splits his time equally between Special Ops’ New York and Los Angeles offices.

Michael Lundgren, Applied Technology Group, Creative Technology Director, VML: Mike joined VML’s Applied Technology Group in May 2005 as Director of Creative Technology. With 20 years of high tech experience and significant executive-level management, marketing and product development experience, Mike serves clients as diverse as Microsoft, Sprint, Ford, adidas, Diageo and Vanguard—offering thought leadership and strategic insight on emerging trends, key technologies and discontinuous innovations. Mike brings with him a wealth of international high-tech experience from market segments as diverse as personal and mobile computing, financial services, consumer packaged goods, entertainment and consumer electronics. Prior to joining VML, Mike worked for GE, Apple Computer, Iomega, and as an independent consultant for media and technology companies and for several multi-platinum recording artists. While at Iomega, Mike served as the General Manager of Iomega’s Mobile Storage Division where he was responsible for the development and marketing of an award-winning line of mobile storage products for digital cameras and other portable and handheld devices. During his tenure, Mike also headed up Iomega’s software development group, and helped lead Iomega’s entry into the optical storage category with the company’s first CDRW drive, which sold more than a million units in the first year of sales. During his nearly nine years with Apple Computer, Mike worked with portable and desktop systems, handheld computing and personal interactive electronics. Mike also was the Worldwide Director of Sales and Market Development for the Newton Group. Mike was a charter member of the Secure Digital Music Initiative (SDMI) and holds a patent in the area of ecommerce and digital rights management. He is a graduate of Missouri State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in organizational communications. Did you know? Aaron Broder, co-founder & CEO, Gorilla Nation: Aaron Broder is CEO of Gorilla Nation, the world’s largest online ad rep firm. He holds both MBA and JD degrees, began his career at the William Morris Agency, co-founded Celebrity Blvd. and co-founded Gorilla Nation in 2001.



















Adam Broitman, Director of Emerging and Creative Strategy, Morpheus Media: As the Director of Emerging and Creative Strategy at Morpheus Media, Adam keeps his finger on the pulse of emerging media channels and devises creative media strategies which leverage these channels for high-profile accounts such as A&E Networks, NYU, The New York Times, IFC and L´Oreal. Adam's contributions have helped Morpheus attain a rank of #40 in Entrepreneur Magazine's most recent Hot List of Fast Growing Companies in 2007. In addition to his responsibilities at Morpheus, Adam is a new media analyst and author/speaker for publications such as iMediaconnection and his own blog, AMediaCirc.US. Recently, Adam has spent a great deal of time analyzing the emerging virtual world trends and produced an experimental mixed media event in NYC entitled Virtualive.TV. He was also one of the organizers of PodcampNYC; the social media “unconference”. Adam holds a B.A. in English from Queens College as well as an M.A. in Media Studies and a certificate in media management from The New School University.

Josh Crandall, Managing Director, Media-Screen LLC: Josh has worked in the interactive media and technology industries for over 15 years, serving in numerous senior business and product development roles. Since 2000, he has been guiding Media-Screen LLC to capitalize on the strength of market intelligence in the development of successful, cost effective products and businesses. Media-Screen is a new breed of research firm that combines research products and services that deepen our domain expertise and create industry accepted metrics for understanding the modern consumer market. He has designed and managed qualitative and quantitative studies for numerous clients including Google, RedEnvelope, Protrade Fantasy Sports, Inc., Bar Association of San Francisco, Plaxo, and DHL. Prior to Media-Screen, he served as Director of Online Media and Applications for Electronic Arts. Between 1994 and 1998, he held numerous positions at DIRECTV in the New Media and Interactive Department developing new platforms for emerging DIRECTV data and interactive services and directing the company’s Internet strategy. He holds a Master of Arts degree in Motion Picture Producing from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis in Economics and Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles.
