John Donahue, Twelvefold Media's Chief Technology Officer, spent years in the ad agency business working directly with large brands. Most recently, John served as Global Director of Client Solutions for Omnicom Media Group (OMG), where he focused on delivering best-in-class business intelligence and data solutions to top-tier global clients, such as Intel, HP, Unilever, Vodafone, and Renault Nissan. Donahue was a pivotal part of the new business team who helped Omnicom agencies secure multiple Global Agency of the Year awards as a direct result of the company's business intelligence offering. He also played a lead role in researching and designing OMG's trading desk and social media offerings, such as Living Segments, a consumer insights platform powered by social profile and graph data
Sean Casey, CEO, SocialGuide.com: Sean Casey is an entrepreneur and web and TV executive with 18 years of experience across both platforms. He is currently the Founder and CEO of SocialGuide.com, the first realtime social guide and social rating system for television. Prior to founding SocialGuide Sean was the SVP of Digital Products at Kidzbop.com, building it into one of the largest social networks for kids ages 5 12. He is also the CEO of UTVPS (www.utvps.com), a web-based solution for tracking licensed media for television productions. UTVPS is used for shows on VH1, A&E, Sundance and TruTV. Previously, Sean was a writer and producer for programs on VH1 and the Discovery Channel (including The iPod Revolution). Prior to that he was VP of Interactive Products for iVillage (1997 2002), and built Comcasts first website in 1994.
Thomas Gerace, Founder & CEO, Skyword: Prior to founding Skyword, Tom launched Gather.com, a demand-driven news and entertainment property reaching more than 6M people each month. Gather remains an owned-and-operated property of Skyword Inc. Gerace also founded and served as President of Be Free, a publicly traded online marketing services company. Be Free transformed online advertising from pay-per-view (i.e. CPM Advertising, where advertisers paid a fixed fee every time their ads were shown) to pay-for-performance advertising (i.e. Cost-Per-Click and Cost-Per-Acquisition Advertising). Be Free-operated channels often saved customers 80% of their cost of new customer acquisition when compared with other marketing methods. After Be Free's launch and financing, Tom served as Chief Marketing Officer through the company's initial public offering. As Chief Marketing Officer, he was responsible for creating new and existing products and services, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and product communications, and customer acquisition. Gerace was awarded two U.S. Patents (5,848,396 and 5,991,735) for profiling computer users and targeting advertising based on that profiling. During his tenure with the company, Be Free launched both U.S. and European operations. Be Free served more than 300 leading brands including barnesandnoble.com, Citibank, eBay, AOL, Lending Tree, Bertlesmann, Time Warner, IBM, Dell, and Microsoft. Prior to founding Be Free, Tom was a senior business analyst at the Harvard Business School. Tom received a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies, magna cum laude, from Harvard University in 1993. Tom serves on the Board of Advisors for Imagitas and on the Board of Visitors for the Fenway Community Health Center. He is also a director of The Open Gate Foundation.
Peter LaMotte, President, GeniusRocket: The Curated Crowdsourcing model relies upon a vetted community of experienced and professional production companies, writers, and advertising veterans to deliver high quality commercial video content at a fraction of the cost of traditional means. Prior to taking on the roll of president, Peter ran marketing and operations at GeniusRocket. He was responsible for changing the business model from its original open contest-based approach of Crowdsourcing, over to its current Curated Crowdsourcing model. Peter came to GeniusRocket from Corporate Executive Board where he was an executive educator for the Marketing Leadership Council and Customer Contact Council. He has worked in the Sales and Marketing divisions of IBM, Apple, and Intrepid Aviation, a spin off company of FedEx. At IBM Peter was a member of the NetGen team; IBM's first division focused on Internet based companies. He holds BA in International Business from Rhodes College, and MBA from Vanderbilt University. He taught on the subject of Creative Curation and Crowdsourcing at schools and organizations including Georgetown and American University as well as the University of Maryland.
Nikhil Sethi, Co-Founder, Adaptly: In 2010, Sethi co-founded Adaptly - the first platform that gives advertisers and agencies the ability to easily create and deploy ads across multiple social networks with one simply buy. Prior to that, Sethi co-founded Blurtt, which allows people to make, upload and send real postcards to friends around the world. Sethi has previously worked at HBO as well as True Ventures in San Francisco. Originally from the Bay Area, Sethi studied Electrical Engineering and Law at Northwestern University in Illinois.
Mike Carson, Chief Marketing Officer, Myxer: Mike was appointed Chief Marketing Officer of Myxer in June 2010. Prior to joining the Myxer team, Mike served as Vice President in Marketing with FTD.com Flowers and Gifts. Before joining FTD, Mike developed customer acquisition and national direct response programs for the Allstate Insurance Company through his tenure at Ogilvy & Mather. Mike launched the Orbitz.com brand in 2000 as employee number 70, and early career highlights at Leo Burnett include brand development, a Super Bowl ad and interactive lead generation for General Motors. Mike received his B.S. in Business Administration - Marketing from Marquette University and his M.B.A from the University of Notre Dame. He serves as an advisor on the Discover Financial Services LLC merchant advisory council.
Anne Driscoll is the Vice President of Business Operations at Ning, where she is responsible for Marketing, Communications, Creative Services and Human Resources. Prior to joining Ning, Anne led communications and brand initiatives at Google, creating programs to support culture, establish it as a great place to work and drive the global talent strategy. Anne led several cross-Google brand projects including the YouTube Symphony Orchestra, Google Code Jam and Innovate or Die. In addition, Anne worked closely with Google's international offices developing go to market strategies and support the hiring of talent worldwide. Prior to Google, Anne was the Director of Product Management at GNX, a global B2B platform delivering sourcing and collaboration solutions for retailers, and a Senior Consultant at Andersen Consulting specializing in retail and supply chain clients. Anne has an Honors Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University in Canada.
Jessica Casano-Antonellis, Digital Advisor, Senior Account Manager, Text 100: Jessica is one of the companys leading consumer experts and has extensive contacts with consumer print, online and broadcast media. She currently works on the Fujifilm and Sony PSP accounts, in addition to being an active member of the Digital Lifestyle team. She has secured substantial pieces of coverage for her clients, ranging from product placements in Rolling Stone, Maxim Magazine, Womens Health and Cosmo!Girl to segments on VH1 and the entertainment show, "Extra". Prior to joining Text 100, Jessica worked in advertising for 106.7 Lite-FM and The L Magazine, where her sales territory included the the entertainment industry, encompassing record labels, theatres and night clubs, giving her an extensive rolodex of contacts and relationships that consistently benefit her clients.
