Jon Goldman is Chairman & CEO of Qlipso, a venture-backed start up focused on social content sharing. Most recently, Qlipso purchased the assets of Veoh, one of the largest video portals in the world. Previous to Qlipso, Jon was Chairman & CEO of Foundation 9, which he started along with good friends and which grew to become one of the largest independent videogame developers in the world. The company was sold to a private equity firm in 2006. Jon started his career at a strategic advisory firm in Silicon Valley that specialized in helping US firms access funding and partnerships in Asia. He holds a BA in Asian Studies from Harvard, received a fellowship to the University of Kyoto and completed the entrepreneurial management program at UCLA Anderson School.

Alex Knight, CEO, EDGE Labs, LLC: Alex Knight has more than 20 years of experience as a pioneer at the intersection of media and technology. He is currently CEO of EDGE Labs, which provides strategic consulting to media, technology, investment and consumer products companies. Knight has helped start and/or served on the boards of a wide range of companies including: Classmates (now United Online), About.com (now NYTimes), NewsCloud, Coffee Equipment Company (now Starbucks), OverCast Media, Exbiblio, NETbot and Throw (both purchased by Excite/ATT). He has also been an angel investor in a number of social media and technology companies. Most recently, Knight was also a Portfolio Manager at Intellectual Ventures, a privately-held "invention investment company" with over $5 Billion under management. At IV, he led development of the global software portfolio for the firm’s Invention Development Fund, working with inventors and researchers around the world to drive long-term innovation. Prior to founding EDGE, Knight was a Managing Director at ARCH Venture Partners, a seed/early stage venture capital fund manager with nearly $1.5 Billion under management. As EVP of MCI News Corporation Internet Ventures, Knight led the joint venture’s business development, product management and editorial activities, including launch of the award-winning iGuide. Before joining MCI News, Knight led creative and business affairs for online services and broadband media at Microsoft. His responsibilities included establishing the Microsoft/NBC partnership and managing early work on the launch of MSN, interactive television applications/programming and local services. Prior to Microsoft, Knight led business development at Continuum Productions (now Corbis), a private company founded by Bill Gates to pioneer the creation of large digital libraries and media for online distribution. Knight also spent five years at Apple in a variety of roles for the Macintosh division. He a managed developer relations and evangelism for the creation of Apple’s Personal Interactive Electronics business. Knight’s speaking engagements have ranged from the Harvard Business School to the Cannes Film Festival He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Stanford University

Greg Fischbach is Founder and Managing Partner of HamptonFarms Ventures, formed in the Fall of 2004. HamptonFarms advises, invests and consults with companies in technology, media, games, and entertainment. He is Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yoostar Entertainment and a member of its executive committee. He was Co-Founder, Co-Chairman, and CEO of Acclaim Entertainment Inc., a NASDAQ-listed company engaged in the video game business between 1987 and 2004. He served as President of RCA Records International between 1986 and 1987, and President of Activision International and a member of its Management Committee from 1983 to 1986. Greg is a member of the California Bar and holds a J.D. from The University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and a BS from San Francisco State University. He served in the Peace Corps, was a Trial Attorney with the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice, and an Assistant United States Attorney for the Central District of California. He commenced private practice with the law firm Orenstein, Arrow, Silverman and Parcher, a firm primarily engaged in representing record companies, music publishers and recording artists. In the mid-1970's, he founded the firm of Fischbach and Fischbach around several key artists including Crosby, Stills and Nash, Thin Lizzy, Emmylou Harris, Merle Haggard, JJ Cale, Boz Scaggs, and Gram Parsons amongst others; record labels (including Richard Branson's Virgin Records, Chrysalis Records and Mercruy Records) and music publishers and, at the same time, managed The Steve Miller Band. Fischbach was one of the co-Founders of the ESA (Entertainment Software Association) and ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board) in the mid-1990's, and served as its Chairman for two years. The former is the videogame industry association which acts in part as a lobbying group; the later is the industry rating board, which is a non-profit, self-regulatory body that independently assigns content ratings, and enforces advertising guidelines for the videogame industry. Mr. Fischbach served on the boards of these organizations from 1994 to 2004. Fischbach is married and lives in New York. In early 2008 he and his wife hosted a reception for President Obama. He is a pilot, enjoys sports, and politically active.

David O. Higley, Managing Partner, Bond Lane Partners LLC: Resigned as Ma
naging Director and Global Head of Digital Media at UBS Investment Bank to form Bond Lane Partners, a registered merchant bank serving the Digital Media sector. In addition to providing the services found at traditional investment banks (i.e., M&A, capital raising, strategic advisory), Bond Lane is an active investor within Digital Media. Currently we have seven investments in our portfolio - and growing! Bond Lane Partners is a merchant bank serving the digital media sector. Its founder, David Higley, formed and built the digital media group at UBS Investment bank where he was a managing director and Global Head of Digital Media until he formed Bond Lane Partners. In addition to providing the services found at traditional investment banks (i.e., M&A, capital raising, strategic advisory), Bond Lane acts as a principal investor with six investments in its portfolio (and growing).
