Renata Dionello, Chief of Staff to CEO, eBay: Renata Dionello is currently the Chief of Staff to eBays CEO. Prior to assuming this role, she led PayPals efforts in business development and strategy for PayPals initiative in the micropayments and digital goods space. Renata has over 10 years of experience in business development, strategy, product management and marketing. Prior to PayPal, she led marketing and product management at Pictage, the leading online services provider for professional photographers. Renatas experience also includes heading up strategy at Rent.com, corporate strategic planning at Disney, project management at Universal Music and strategy consulting at the Boston Consulting Group. Renata holds a BA and MEng from the University of Oxford (England) and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Andrew Lacy, COO and co-founder, Tapulous: In January 2008, Andrew joined Bart Decrem (Flock, Firefox, Easel) to found Tapulous, the first company created on the emerging iPhone platform. In 2 years they have grow Tapulous to be a market leader in the space and are responsible for the hit gaming franchise, Tap Tap Revenge, with over 30 million downloads. Tapulous has sold millions of virtual good items on the iPhone platform and is in the process of building a portfolio of social games for mobile. Andrew is a graduate from Stanford Business School and was previously a consultant with McKinsey & Company.
Benjamin Chen, Head of Sales, Playdom, Inc.: Ben leads Playdoms branded integration sales efforts across its suite of applications and platforms, including industry leading titles, such as Social City, Sorority Life and Mobsters. Ben has more than ten years of experience in the development and monetization of original opportunities and viable revenue streams, and prior to joining Playdom, he served as VP of Sales at MovieTickets.com. There he managed the organizations national sales force and oversaw sales strategy. Ben also led sales efforts at industry leading brands like CBS Interactive (Gamespot.com), Netflix and Variety.
Tim Chang, Principal, Norwest Venture Partners, focusing on Wireless and Digital Media investments, and also leads Norwest's China initiatives. Tim led NVP's investment in 3jam, Brite Semiconductor and Lumos Labs, and serves on the board of directors for these companies. Tim also led NVP's investment in PCH International. He is actively involved with NVP's wireless portfolio, including deCarta, DoubleFusion, Veveo, and Clairmail. Prior to joining Norwest, Tim was a Principal at Gabriel Venture Partners, where he established and led the Wireless investment practice, and was actively involved with investments in Placeware (acquired by Microsoft), Iridigm (acquired by Qualcomm), IPWireless (acquired by NextWave), Skycross, NextG Networks, and Sequoia Communications. Tim served as a director on the boards of Iridigm and Sequoia Communications. Before entering the venture capital industry, Tim was a Product Manager at Gateway, where he launched Enterprise products into the Japanese market, and began his career as a tri-lingual development engineer for General Motors, working across China, Korea, and Japan. Tim is an active contributor to the wireless industry, and serves on the advisory boards of Telecom Council Silicon Valley, TiE Wireless SIG, Under-the-Radar, Wireless Communications Alliance (WCA), MIT/Stanford VLAB, VC Task Force, Silicon Valley Chinese Wireless Association, and Digital Hollywood. Tim received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class as an Arjay Miller Scholar. He also holds an MSEE and BSEE in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where he was a Deparmental Scholar and received full fellowship. Tim is also an accomplished musician and actor, and continues to perform around the Bay Area.
Matt Van Horn, Business Development, Digg: Matt Van Horn handles Business Development for Digg leading content syndication and strategic partnerships. Matt was previously a co-founder of Zimride one of the top online ride sharing websites. Previously, Matt worked at Apple managing higher education marketing for the University of Arizona. Matt graduated from the University of Arizona with a dual degree in entrepreneurship and marketing.
David Madden, Executive Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Business Development, WildTangent: David Madden joined WildTangent in March 2000 and oversees the company's advertising sales and marketing, business development and strategic partnerships on a global basis. A media industry veteran, Madden has extensive experience in the print, cable, broadcast and interactive media industries. Prior to WildTangent, he was the Executive Vice President of Sales for News Digital Media, the Internet Division of News Corporation. At News Digital Media, Madden ran advertising sales and marketing for the digital properties of Fox Sports, Fox News and Fox Entertainment and was tasked with cross-media integration around such properties as the World Series and Super Bowl. Previous to News Digital Media, Madden was the Associate Publisher of Runner's World magazine. At Runner's World, he oversaw sales and marketing for the U.S. and international editions. Under his leadership, Runner's World was a top 10 consumer title for advertising sales growth. Madden was elected to the IAB Board of Directors and serves as the Chair of the Interactive Games Committee. Madden received his B.A. degree from Princeton.
