Micki Krimmel is well known in the Web 2.0 space for her work in online community development and her popular website and video show at www.Mickipedia.com. As a web consultant and advisor, Micki helps technology startups and new media companies build sustainable communities for authentic conversation and engaged participation.
Previously, Micki worked as Director of Community for Revver.com. She also built and managed the interactive department at Participant Productions, a media company founded with the express mission to engage audiences in movements for social change. While at Participant, Micki created the company’s first online activist community and led the interactive media efforts for Al Gore’s An Inconvenient Truth as well as Participant’s other award-winning films. Micki is the founder of Sugar Packet, Inc. – a tiny company with a big mission – to fundamentally change our relationship with material items.







Marc Morgenstern leads Declare Yourself’s business and creative operations, including campaign advertising, marketing, and promotion, fundraising planning and implementation, digital content distribution and marketing, legal and business affairs, finance, and board administration and support. Morgenstern comes to Declare Yourself and the non-profit sector from a diverse career that has included leadership positions in journalism, communications and marketing, television production and Internet content. Prior to joining Declare Yourself, he served as vice president at Navio Inc., overseeing all digital content for the company and coordinating e-commerce and digital marketing of music-oriented web storefronts. Morgenstern negotiated preferred content distribution agreements with companies such as Sony, Warner Music Group., Universal and EMI, and managed digital promotion campaigns with top retailers such as Wal-Mart and Target.








Robert Bahar is the Emmy-award winning Producer/Co-Writer of the documentary Made in L.A. (madeinla.com). Funded by ITVS, POV and the Sundance Documentary Fund, Made in L.A. premiered on PBS' POV series in 2007 and has screened extensively at festivals around the world. The film, which has received an Emmy Award and a Henry Hampton Award from the Council on Foundations, is currently the focus of a multi-year DIY outreach and distribution initiative. Bahar previously produced and directed the award-winning documentary Laid to Waste, and has line-produced and production managed independent films including ITVS’s Diary of a City Priest, which premiered at Sundance, and Pittsburgh, which premiered at Tribeca. In addition to his work as a filmmaker, he is the Director/Co-Founder of Doculink (doculink.org), a grassroots and online community of over 2,000 documentary-makers. He has served on the Board of the International Documentary Association and holds an M.F.A. from The Peter Stark Program at USC.




Melissa Fitzgerald is a dynamic actor, producer, and social activist. Her acting career has included film, theater and television in New York and Los Angeles. She is best known for playing the role of Carol on NBC’s award-winning political drama The West Wing. Ms. Fitzgerald recently completed filming the independent feature, This is Not a Test. Her other film roles include Simple Things, Monument Avenue, Frequency, and Love and Sex. Throughout her life, Ms. Fitzgerald has been dedicated to community service and outreach. In 1995 she co-founded Voices in Harmony, a non-profit youth arts organization committed to empowering at-risk teens by cultivating personal, academic, and artistic excellence. www.voicesinharmony.org. Voices of Uganda is a documentary film that follows the format of Voices in Harmony; taking this unique theater program to northern Uganda to work with a group of teenagers displaced by the 22-year rebel war. The result will be a compelling film illuminating the situation facing teenagers in war-torn northern Uganda.







Juan Devis is an interdisciplinary artist, writer and director. He has worked in the commercial and the non-profit world, narrowing the gap between art and commerce, social change and entertainment. His work is often produced collaboratively, allowing for a greater exchange of ideas in the production of art. Devis is head of production for new media at KCET/PBS Los Angeles in charge of all web original, including the award winning Web Stories and the gaming initiative on History and Civics funded by the Corporation of Public Broadcasting. Devis was recently featured in the third annual “L.A. People” issue of the LA Weekly news publication as a major influencer in Los Angeles and his online series Departures was featured in the Sunday Arts and Culture section of the New York Times.




Charles Annenberg Weingarten is a filmmaker, philanthropist, and storyteller. As a Trustee of the Annenberg Foundation, he started Explore as a way to identify selfless individuals who are making a positive social impact through non-profit organizations and initiatives - and then share their stories through short documentary films and photography. Charles has always pursued broad interests in philanthropy, the arts, global spirituality, and communication. In 2003, recognizing the importance of social networking on the web, Charles established the Online Communities Program of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Southern California (USC).














Brian Sirgutz is the President of Causecast.org; Causecast is a coalition of change-makers, problem solvers and every day people working together to change the world. We combine the powers of media, entertainment, philanthropy and business for the greater good. As President of Causecast, Brian Sirgutz brings with him an extensive background encompassing the worlds of entertainment, technology and cause-related marketing. Prior to his arrival, Brian was an adviser to Textango, a patent pending mobile patent pending mobile billing and content delivery platform. Brian began to apply this new technology to the world on not for profits when he worked as a Director for the Aaliyah Memorial Fund. In 2004, prior to his foray into personal management and advising, Brian was a partner with Shawn Fanning (Napster) and producer Michael Beinhorn (Korn, Red Hot Chili Peppers) in forming NoN Records, one of the first labels to start the "360-degree model" for artists. From 2000-2004, Brian was President of Elementree Records, a label owned by Korn and the entertainment company, The Firm.
