David Norton is Senior Vice President of Brand Integration at Ladder Up Media a branded entertainment and licensing sales organization. Credits include: The Biggest Loser, The Office, Ugly Betty, Last Comic Standing, Three Wishes, Miss USA/Miss Universe and the upcoming NBC Summer Reality Series Great American Road Trip. David has been instrumental in developing relationships between entertainment properties and brands that result in the procurement of production resources (product), integration fees, marketing & tune in, web presence and licensed products. He also enjoys hiking, international adventure travel, and spending time with his wife and three beautiful children.
Mark Vega, Of Counsel, Luce Forward and Co-Founder of Omelet acts as a trusted legal and strategic business advisor to a diverse client base. His practice includes entertainment, marketing & advertising, new media, intellectual property and action sports transactions. He is often responsible for forging innovative deal structures between brand owners, content creators and distribution platforms which ultimately form the basis for new business models. Mark is also a co-founder of Los Angeles based Omelet, a version 2.0 advertising and marketing agency servicing the entertainment and new media sectors.
Josh Bycel has written and produced TV shows for ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, USA, Comedy Central, the WB and MTV as well as writing for the Academy Awards, hosted by Jon Stewart, and writing feature scripts for MGM and Lions Gate. He just finished Executive Producing and creating a highly successful Internet Ad Campaign for Grape Nuts cereal called The Guys Manual, which is featured on MSN.com. He is also the Executive Director of OneKid OneWorld, a non-profit focused on rebuilding schools in Kenya and El Salvador, as well as bringing fresh water and solar power to these rural areas and partnering each of these over-seas schools with schools in the United States.
Adam Armus serves as Executive Producer on the Golden Globe and Emmy Nominated hit series HEROES. Adam joined the show for the first season with writing partner Kay Foster with whom he also worked on shows such as THE PRACTICE, NIGHTSTALKER, KEVIN HILL, BIRDS OF PREY, GLORY DAYS, XENA, HERCULES and many others. They've also written several TV MOVIES. Armus/Fosters current motion picture screenplay is called THE DOUBTFUL GUEST and is based on a book by Edward Gorey. It is being produced by FOX, WALDEN MEDIA and The HENSON COMPANY. They are being repped by Endeavor.
Brian Seth Hurst is CEO of The Opportunity Management Company, a strategic consultancy and cross media production company that is driving the next generation of entertainment. Referred to as the father of cross platform, Hurst coined the term in 1998 as MD of Convergent Media at Pittard Sullivan, where he launched TV Guide as the first ever cross platform brand. Currently, he is Second vice Chair of the Television Academy Board of Governors and was recently appointed Global Digital Ambassador for the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. A recipient of an Interactive TV Today [itvt] Award for Leadership in Interactive Television, he has been profiled in Emmy® Magazine one of the 10 media executives in the business leading the industrys digital drive. Hurst was named two years running to the Hollywood Reporter/PGA Digital 50.
Daniel Harris, Chairman & CEO, MediaPass: Mr. Harris has been at the forefront of Digital Lifestyle for nearly 10 years. After the .com bubble burst, Mr. Harris saw a unique opportunity to connect with Gen Y X audiences through online music. Mr. Harris was part of the team that released Madonnas 1st approved download on the Internet and later secured the rights and exclusively distributed Internet video webcasts for the most coveted independent live events throughout North America and Europe. This lifestyle credibility resulted in MediaPass Network being selected by Microsoft Corporation to participate in the Beta Launch of Windows Media 9 Series in September 2002, serve as the national press launch partner for the Portable Media Center in 2005, and serve as a windows vista beta partner in 2006. Previously, Mr. Harris operated his own production company where he initiated business relationships and executed licensing agreements with clients including: Adidas, ABC Sports, CNNSI, and Fox Sports World. During this time, Mr. Harris was a Brandon Tartikoff Award Finalist (top industry new comer) in each of his two years of eligibility.
