Mitzi Reaugh, General Manager, NBC Digital Health Network: Mitzi Reaugh was named General Manager of the NBC Digital Health Network in May 2008. She is responsible for setting the strategy of the Network, managing the day-to-day operations and adding new distribution partners. She reports to George Kliavkoff, Chief Digital Officer for NBC Universal. Reaugh previously held the roll of Vice President, Strategy & Business Development for NBC Universal. Since joining NBC Universal Digital Media in 2006, Reaugh was part of the original deal team that created and developed Hulu.com. The premium online video destination joint venture between NBC Universal and News Corporation was founded in March 2007, and closed a $100 million vestment from private equity firm Providence Equity Partners. Reaugh extended her responsibilities for Hulu.com in a crucial operational role, implementing many of its leading Internet distribution partners that include AOL, MSN, MySpace and Yahoo! Additionally, she took lead on securing both distribution and content partnerships for NBC Universal. Before joining NBC Universal Digital Media, Reaugh worked at McKinsey & Company where she was focused on media, online and wireless growth strategies. In addition, Reaugh has rich Marketing experience with Vendare Group, payMe and PayMyBills.com. Reaugh focused on customer acquisitions through multiple channels including online affiliate marketing and also customer retention through email marketing, loyalty programs and sweepstakes. Reaugh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. While at Wharton, Reaugh was awarded the Robert Levy Fellowship and was a semi-finalist in the Wharton Business Plan competition.
David Leider, CEO of Destination Media and Gas Station TV: With more than 20 years experience in media, automotive, consumer packaged goods, retail and technology, David Leider has been a prime mover in fueling a shift in the world of digital advertising. First as a manager of integrated marketing for companies like DaimlerChrysler and Ford, then as a strategist for the automotive sector of Yahoo!, Mr. Leider set the course for the evolution of digital advertising to entirely new venues and media. As CEO of GSTV, Leider leads client/partner relationships and business operations where he has leveraged his marketing expertise to successfully launch GSTV in the top 15 media markets in the nation, growing GSTVs national reach to over 30 million viewers a month.
Ralf Schliephake (born 1966) is the Director of Product and Marketing Management of Deutsche Telekoms Out-of-Home Media department. His responsibilities encompass product management and marketing for both the wholesale and the retail market. Additionally Ralf Schliephake manages the international product development activities for Out-of-Home Media. Schliephake started his career at Deutsche Telekom in 2000 and since then filled various management positions in central corporate units. Prior to his engagement with Deutsche Telekom he worked in the advertising business for 11 years with various positions in Germany and abroad. Ralf Schliephake holds a university diploma in Business Administration.
Kelly Dempski, Director for Human Computer Interaction Research, Accenture Technology Labs: For 13 years, Kelly has developed technological innovations at Accenture that aim to simplify the way that users manipulate and share information. His most recent inventions include a system for large scale, interactive advertising. His interactive wall technology is currently being used by many thousands of users in OHare and JFK international airports and 10 Accenture offices, and has been used in many other public venues. Dempski has also written three books on interactive 3D rendering, and holds several patents for collaborative and interactive technologies.
Shawn Gentry, President and COO, TableTop Media: Prior to launching TableTop Media, Shawn Gentry steered two successful start-up ventures. With 15 years of management experience, Gentry has served in multiple leadership roles in the areas of marketing, product development, sales and business development, giving him a 360-degree perspective on starting, developing and scaling an emerging company. While Gentry is launching his latest venture in the restaurant and hospitality space, his technological aptitude has been tested and proven in other industries such as the complicated and often bureaucratic healthcare industry where he has launched seven brands, specifically in the medical/surgical technology market. Gentry has also been well versed in Corporate America, having served eight years with Healthpoint, serving in various roles during their rapid growth from a $15M medical company to a $200M specialty pharmaceutical organization. Gentry is no stranger to Wall Street. Starting out as employee number one with Encision, formerly Electrosope, he was involved in two rounds of funding and the initial public offering (NASDAQ:ESCN). Gentry holds five patents and six patent-pending applications. He received a Bachelor of Science from Millsaps College and a Master of Business Administration from Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
Tom Nix Vice President and General Manager, Dynamax Technologies, LLC: Tom Nix brings more than 20 years of sales, marketing, and business development experience in the media and consumer products industries to Dynamax Technologies Ltd. As vice president and general manager of Dynamax Technologies, LLC, the companys North American subsidiary, he is responsible for developing and implementing out-of-home advertising networks for U.S. and Canadian brands, agencies, media content owners, and other entities. Nix, who reports to Dynamax CEO Ian McKenzie, spearheads the firms regional operating and growth strategies, including the oversight of all sales, branding, corporate and channel marketing, and customer, partner, and reseller relationship management activities. In addition, he is tasked with developing robust and sustainable lines of business in North America within the companys core vertical market segments, including the media and entertainment, retail, transportation, government, and academic sectors. Prior to joining Dynamax, Nix was director of business development at Main Street Direct, an alternative media agency specializing in direct, online, mobile, and out-of-home marketing campaigns for such distinguished consumer brands as Citi, Disney, JPMorgan Chase, Nickelodeon, and Vonage. During his tenure there, he co-led the companys acquisition and new business development strategies within non-traditional advertising categories, and supervised a wide range of post-acquisition integration activities. Previously, Nix was vice president of business development for Marins USA, now part of Inventive Media, where he was responsible for driving revenue generation and client acquisition initiatives through key account creation, industry association participation, and strategic trade and channel marketing programs. He has also served as a consultant to Creative Distribution Group, a leading in-store marketing solutions provider; vice president of business development for match21, a marketplace application service provider; and founder and president of Sunshine Mountain Productions, a developer and licensor of original music, book, and video titles. Earlier in his career, Nix held sales and account management positions at Great American Audio Corporation, Cooper Rand, and Beatrice Foods. Nix attended and completed the prestigious Executive Program for Growing Companies (EPGC) at Stanford Universitys Graduate School of Business in Palo Alto, California. He resides in New York City with his wife and children.
Allison Dollar is a founder and co-president of the Interactive Television Alliance, a non-profit trade association whose broad constituency is committed to accelerating iTV in the U.S. She is also a principal in 2degree Partners, a management consultancy focused on iTV, specializing in alliance packaging, cross-platform marketing and digital services integration. A longtime champion of ubiquitous interactivity, she co-founded eTV World, Hollyweb Live!, iNNOVATORS venture pitch series, and chaired NABs Executive Committee to launch Multimedia World. Clients have included IBMs eBusiness (American Express, Bell Atlantic, Mail Boxes Etc.), AOL, SimplyTV, Web TV, WB, Creative Planet, Stan Lee Media, Vi[z]Rt (virtual sets), and Envivio (MPEG-4). For Webcasts.com she was CSO and a founding board member (IPO as iBEAM Internet Broadcasting Corp). Previously, for Phillips Business Information she led business/content development with over 30 trade publications. Titles included Interactive Video News, Interactive Marketing News, Internet Week, CableFAX, Multimedia Week, E-Commerce News, Film & Video Magazine, A/V Video magazine, Via Satellite. While Editorial Director of In Motion she created sponsor packages with Sony, SGI, PacBell, Autodesk, AOL, HBO, Kodak and Sprint. These anticipated the impact of 3D visual effects, advertainment, DBS, broadband, VOD and wireless devices. She worked with Oscar-nominee documentarian Ross Spears, CBS News, the Maryland Film Commission. A founding board member of Marylands WIFV, she received ASAEs Golden Circle award, held advisory board positions for CINE and the US Film&Video Festival. She holds a M.A. from the University of Virginia and Phi Beta Kappa B.A. from Goucher College in Baltimore, and has been interviewed by National Public Radio, LA Times, Wall Street Journal, Hot Wired, Hollywood Reporter, Variety, BizTalk1, Millimeter, Digitrends, Broadcasting & Cable and other outlets. Her book on iTV, Interactive Television: Tracking and Preparing for an Emerging Market, was released in April 2003.
