With the attention of the consumer being assaulted by a host of great technologies – from games and broadband to PRVs - devices as well as content programming, the task of the client, the agency and content provider raising their message above the clutter is daunting. With every challenge, however there exists the opportunity to reinvent the process, and in the evolving world of branded media marketing, the creativity at hand is impressive. The industry’s TV, music, wireless, film and broadband marketing teams are reinventing the world of entertainment, branding and marketing. Kevin Davis, President & Chief Operating Officer – Hollywood.com: Kevin Davis has overseen all aspects of the development, growth and management of Hollywood.com since joining the company in 2007. As president and chief operating officer, Davis leads the company’s audience expansion initiatives, including the acquisition of new entertainment online and media properties. He is also leading the charge to enhance the Hollywood.com brand identity and refine the site’s editorial focus. In addition to his creative responsibilities, Davis oversees sales for the Hollywood Online Network including MovieTickets.com, HollywoodWireTap.com and several other entertainment properties and fan sites. Prior to joining Hollywood.com, Davis served as vice president of product development & general manager of Variety Online. In addition, he served as group publisher of Variety’s Home Entertainment Group, comprised of the industry’s most prominent publications and web properties. Davis brings more than eight years in online management consulting for major entertainment entities such as Disney, Universal CAA & Technicolor. He began his professional career in 1992 specializing in sales and promotion for Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment.

Phill Simon, Partner, Creative Director, Mondo Studios: Phill Simon has over 17 years of professional experience in the interactive entertainment field. In his role as creative director of Mondo Studios, he is in charge of overseeing all creative direction for development and production. Previously, Phill was the executive producer for Mondo Media’s production group from 2001 through 2004, where he managed the animation and producer’s teams that created cutting-edge digital animation projects for some of the most successful games of the last few years, including: Electronic Arts’ James Bond: Everything or Nothing, The Lord of the Rings: Two Towers, Command and Conquer: Generals, Maxis’ The Sims 2 and Microsoft’s Age of Empires as well as numerous 2D animated projects for Yahoo, TiVO, LeapFrog, VH-1, Direct TV and Cisco Systems. Before joining Mondo Phill founded Jinx Studios, a digital production company. As president and creative director he oversaw development of the Macworld Game Hall of Fame inductee and PC Computing MVP Award winner Bad Mojo, as well as projects for NBC, Excite, Playboy, Nike, Nickelodeon and Warner Brothers. He also produced and directed Virtual Jay, a series of animated segments that aired on The Tonight Show. Phill has an extensive background in the multimedia industry and in recent years has consulted for companies such as Nickelodeon, Mattel, Time Warner, Macromedia and Apple Computer.

Tracey Machette, VP of New Business Development, DMI Music Branding: Tracey Matchett brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience to DMI, specializing in new business development, account management and integrated marketing promotions for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to DMI, Matchett was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at SUGO, where she developed strategic music and interactive solutions for clients such as Whole Foods, Charles Schwab and American Licorice Company. She has led new business teams throughout North America and worked as a Group Account Director at global promotional companies specializing in integrated promotions and multimedia applications. Her consultative, results-oriented approach has been pivotal to her success when working with leading edge marketers including Kraft, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, and P&G.

Jordan Schlachter,
Vice President of Strategy, TBA DEEP (a division of TBA Global): Jordan Schlachter brings 18 years of experience in the fields of branded entertainment and sports marketing. Before joining TBA Global's TBA DEEP division, Schlachter most recently served as the vice president of New Media Marketing and Content Sales for MTV Networks, where he was responsible for the oversight of all affiliate marketing campaigns and brand development for Comedy Central, Spike TV, Black Entertainment Television (BET), TV Land, Nick Toons, The N, and Country Music Television (CMT). Prior to MTV Networks, Schlachter served as the head of marketing for the New York Knicks, overseeing all advertising and marketing-related branding, business development, sponsorships and promotional efforts for the team. Schlachter began his career at the National Basketball Association (NBA) in New York, where he acquired expertise in a variety of league departments. He is a graduate of Harvard University and received his Masters degree in Business Administration from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.

Xavier Kochhar, Partner, Strategy and Business Development, Media Link, LLC: Xavier Kochhar focuses on business development and strategic advisory assignments as partner of Media Link, LLC. In this role, he manages and executes upon the strategic planning and business science advisory services for Media Link clients within the media, advertising, and entertainment space. He has over ten years experience in bringing together corporate America and consumer brand companies with Hollywood and its myriad media and entertainment assets, both as an agent representing corporate clients or as a principal on behalf of the media assets themselves. Mr. Kochhar recently served as one of three corporate executives within Disney’s Corporate Alliances group who was dedicated solely to the procuring and developing of new, mutually value-creating strategic relationships between outside corporations and the myriad assets across all the divisions of The Walt Disney Company. By sitting in Corporate atop Disney, his role had an ability to and necessitated the pulling of resources from the respective divisions within the company—Studios, Theme Parks, Consumer Products, and Media Networks (ABC, ESPN, and the various Disney cable assets)—in order to work with third-party B-to-B and consumer brand companies in various aspects of strategic and/or tactical relationships. These relationships included marketing, media buys, sponsorships, promotional activity, purchasing, corporate development, joint or integrated content opportunities, or co-branded JVs. Prior to The Walt Disney Company, Mr. Kochhar was a corporate packaging agent at the William Morris Agency in Beverly Hills, the largest and most prestigious talent agency representing the entertainment industry's top creatives and content producers; and a managing partner for an entertainment marketing company, which extends the brands of top consumer and retail companies into the world of media by identifying and/or generating integrated marketing opportunities based on or around top entertainment properties and franchises. Mr. Kochhar was also a strategy consultant in the Media and Entertainment group for London-based L.E.K. Consulting. He began his professional career in corporate finance, after graduating from U.C. Berkeley's Haas School of Business, working as investment banker for Tucker Anthony Sutro, where his focus was mergers, acquisitions, and private placements of emerging growth and middle market companies. Mr. Kochhar lives in Los Angeles, California and spends much of his free time working with youth education programs, such as the Inner City Education Foundation, and coaching soccer for the American Youth Soccer Organization.

Neil McGuiness, Vice President of Entertainment and Comedy, IMG Media, Moderator: IMG Media produces and distributes over 10,000 hours of sports, documentary, drama, comedy, entertainment, popular factual and children's content annually, over multiple platforms across 200 countries, including award-winning television and radio programming. It also represents the broadcast rights to many of the world's premier sporting events and has the world's biggest sports archive with more than 200,000 hours of footage. McGinness was previously Vice President of National Lampoon and General Manager of National Lampoon Mobile. Prior to National Lampoon, he also served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Lorne Michaels' production company, Broadway Video Entertainment, the production company for television shows such as "Saturday Night Live" and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" as well as motion pictures such as "Wayne's World." McGinness received a Bachelor of Arts in Classics and English from Georgetown University and a Master's Degree from NYU's Institute of Film and Television.
