In a short period of time, the technology industries will have to be prepared to process hundreds of millions of daily transactions. There will not be one prevailing solution. The solutions and technologies will range from secure infrared signals, RFID, subscriber bundles to smart cards. Payment functions on mobile and broadband will be as critical to the future of our economy as was the introduction of the credit card. Identifying the right solution for the right problem is the task at hand. In this session, we will begin the process of identifying how financial management solutions in the mobile and broadband commerce worlds are likely to emerge. Brad Singer, Vice President of Products and Markets, PaymentOne, Moderator Additional speakers to be announced Perry Solomon, founder and Vice President, Strategy, Peppercoin: Perry Solomon was founding chief executive officer of Peppercoin, and leads the development of Peppercoins business strategy and product roadmap. In this role, Mr. Solomon focuses on new business and technology initiatives to support Peppercoins core business and future growth. Prior to joining Peppercoin, Mr. Solomon served as a director in the Content Bridge business unit at Inktomi Corporation. He also served as product manager at Adero, Inc., a start-up content delivery network, where he built a globally-distributed e-commerce service for small and medium-sized digital merchants. Previously, Solomon was a strategy consultant in the Entertainment and Media practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He also served as an investment banker with Peregrine Capital in Hong Kong and with Salomon Brothers in New York, where he advised telecommunications/media companies on mergers and acquisitions and fundraising. Solomon received a bachelor's degree in foreign service from Georgetown University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Tom Trinneer, VP, Products, Qpass: Currently VP, Products at Qpass and is responsible for product strategy, product management, and marketing. Trinneer previously served as VP, Multimedia Strategy for AT&T Wireless' Mobile Multimedia unit with responsibility for the long-term strategy for all data products. Trinneer was an active participant on the team that negotiated the $10 Billion investment in AT&T Wireless by NTT DoCoMo. Acting as the primary AT&T Wireless executive spokesperson on wireless Internet topics, Trinneer worked directly with over 20 industry and financial analysts, and over 35 major and industry media outlets, including being quoted in both The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, and appeared on the cover of Catalyst Magazine.Brad Singer, Vice President of Products and Markets, PaymentOne: Bra d Singer brings more than 18 years of content media and technology experience to PaymentOne. Singer leads the companys overall market strategy, new product initiatives, and partnership initiatives. Formerly, Singer served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for TeleKnowledge, a billing and e-commerce infrastructure company. Prior to TeleKnowledge, Singer served as Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Content Licensing at NewsEdge, (Thomson Corporation) an early pioneer in content syndication, where he successfully achieved annual growth rates of over 40%, consistent profitability, and an IPO during his 8-year tenure. Singer also served as General Manager of NewsPage.com, an early innovator in on-line fee-based services in addition to other management positions at companies such as Citibank and General Electric. He also served on the Dun and Bradstreet executive Advisory Board. Singer holds a BS degree in Computer Science and Economics from Tufts University and an MBA in Finance from the Wharton Business School.
