| Tuesday, January 8 Noon - 1:00 PM Session A - DH3: Telewebbing - ITV - Simultaneous TV and PC/Internet Experience Some believe that the future of ETV/ITV will be based on the concept generally known as "Telewebbing" or two-screen interactivity. This is a system which allows for more than one viewer to be interacting independently with an ETV/ITV system at the same time. Single screen ETV is the use of the television set with interactive functionality manipulated by a keyboard or remote device. Two screen interactivity is the TV plus an additional device with a screen, enabling such things as Video Instant messaging on a screen with a keyboard in the lap of the viewer, while the device continues to have interactive capability with the TV set and/or a home PC network. Dont miss this session. It could be the key to the future of ITV.
