Guedj, Vice President of Video Products Marketing, Cirrus Logic, Inc.: Jack P. Guedj joined Cirrus in April 2003 as vice president of Video Products Marketing, where he is responsible for worldwide strategic and tactical marketing for DVD and Video Recorder Technologies. Guedj joins Cirrus with many years of video marketing and sales experience from National Semiconductor, Faroudja and most recently at TVIA. Based in Fremont, Calif., Guedj will lead Cirrus market efforts in serving the high-growth digital video market segments including DVD players, DVD recorders, hard-drive-based digital video recorders, DVD receivers where Cirrus has embarked upon a comprehensive silicon-to-software platform strategy. Prior to joining Cirrus, Guedj served as president of TVIA, a leading provider of streaming media gateway ICs for residential broadband, information access devices and digital TV markets. Guedj also served as president of HTMC, where he oversaw a consulting business for CEOs, and was vice president of Worldwide Sales and Marketing at Faroudja. Guedj also served as director of Digital Media/Broadband SMS at National Semiconductor, where he directed Nationals Digital Media/Broadband Strategic Market Segment and marketing and sales activities for the broadband set-top box, cable modem, home gateway, DVD and digital TV markets. Guedj graduated in 1982 from Physique et Chimie de Paris, and received a DEA degree from the University of Paris I in 1983. Guedj obtained his masters degree from the University of California Los Angeles Graduate School of Management. Brian Pridgeon, Product Marketing Manager, Adaptec's Desktop Solutions Group: Brian Pridgeon supervises development and implementation of product marketing strategy for Adaptecs VideOh! line of DVD and CD creation and Media Center products. The VideOh! line includes digital media solutions for consumers who want to create, share, manage and enjoy content across both personal computers and consumer electronics. Before joining Adaptec, Mr. Pridgeon served in a variety of product marketing management roles at Minerva Networks, ReplayTV, Inc., Intel Corporation and Siemens Information and Communications Products LLC. In those roles, he managed all aspects of the marketing cycle, including go-to-market strategy and marketing execution. In addition, Mr. Pridgeon was the Central California sales manager for 3M Corporation, where he worked from 1988-1997. Mr. Pridgeon received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Santa Clara University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from California State University, Long Beach. Maciek Brzeski, Vice President, Marketing, Toshiba America Informatio n Systems: As vice president of marketing for Toshiba America Information Systems (TAIS), Maciek Brzeski is responsible for directing Toshiba's sales, marketing, operations and development efforts in the United States relating to optical and hard disk drives. Brzeski joined Toshiba in 1996, and has worked in the computer industry for 19 years - holding positions at AST, Raytheon and Telex.Jurgen Krehnke, Segment Manager, Consumer & Multimedia, Global M arketing and Sales Organization, Philips Semiconductors: Jurgen Krehnke heads a worldwide semiconductor marketing team supporting Philips customers that are targeting new high volume consumer categories. Prior to his current assignment, Krehnke was General Manager leading two different businesses in the consumer and System-on-chip (SOC) ASIC domains. Krehnke began his career with Royal Philips Electronics in 1990 in Hamburg, Germany as an integrated circuit (IC) design engineer, then relocated to Silicon Valley in 1994 where he has since held various engineering and management positions in the applications and business development field, leading up to the above mentioned assignments. Krehnke holds a MSEE degree from the Technical University of Braunschweig in Germany and has studied business administration in schools in Germany as well as Stanford University.John LeMoncheck, Vice President of Consumer Electronics Products, S ilicon Image, Inc.: As Vice President of Consumer Electronics Products at Silicon Image, Mr. LeMoncheck has responsibility for all consumer electronics product, market and business strategy development and execution. He hails from TeraLogic, where he was vice president of software and systems engineering, directing all platform and software implementations for TeraLogic's digital television solutions. He also ran the customer support and professional service organizations. Prior to joining TeraLogic, LeMoncheck was a member of the founding team at Arithmos, Inc. where he was vice president of engineering and developed Arithmos' line of display processors targeted at the flat panel market. More recently, he directed The LEGO Company's West Coast design center, which was focused on high-tech toys. Earlier in his career, LeMoncheck held staff engineering and design engineering positions at Synaptics, Inc. and NCR Corporation, respectively. LeMoncheck is an active member of the Society for Information Display, having helped form the group's Electronic Device subcommittee. He has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from U.C. San Diego and spent several years researching VLSI for imaging and pattern recognition applications at Caltech.Camillo Martino joined Zoran Corporation as Executive Vice President an d Chief Operating Officer in August 2001. Mr. Martino has 20 years experience in the consumer, communications, and computing industries, including nearly 14 years with National Semiconductor in its US, Japan, and Asia-Pacific operations. During his tenure at National, he held several business unit and marketing management positions in National's Personal Systems, Cyrix, and Information Appliance Groups. Most recently, Mr. Martino held the position of CEO of Merinta, Inc. Mr. Martino holds a B.App.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Melbourne and a Grad.Dip. in Digital Communications from Monash University in Australia.John Setel O'Donnell, Chief Technology Officer, Equator: John Setel O'Donnell co-founded Equator in 1996 with the intention of applying his in-depth engineering knowledge and expertise in complex processing to a wide range of end products for optimum video processing. As Equators CTO, he drives the product engineering innovation and roadmap development for the companys expanding line of high-performance video processing systems. Prior to founding Equator, O'Donnell was a co-founder and vice president of engineering at Multiflow Computer, Inc., where he and his team pioneered VLIW architecture and trace scheduling compiler technologies. In this role, he was the chief architect for Multiflow's VLIW processors and led all engineering development for the company. O'Donnell holds a BS in computer science from Yale University. |
