The cell phone universe has already conquered the world. Now its time for the rest of the information and entertainment space to catch up. When will wireless become an everyday assumption? When will the PC, the set-top, the broadband connection and the home audio system be wirelessly networked for every day, non-techie users? The Networking Lab drives end to end innovations in all areas of the network, from home to enterprise. Prior to her current position, Ms. Gryder worked on developing media devices for the home and was responsible for evangelizing enhanced digital broadcast and other Intel technologies to the entertainment industry. Before joining Intel, Ms. Gryder worked for eight years in the post production industry in Chicago, concentrating primarily on special effects and graphics for television. Ms. Gryder received a Bachelor of Science degree in film and television from Northwestern University and an MBA from Cornell University. Ms. Gryder is a member of the Interactive Peer Group of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and past president of Chicago's Women in Film association. The Broadband Communications Group is charged with driving TI's extensive broadband portfolio, which includes integrated DSP, analog and software solutions for cable, digital subscriber line (DSL), voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) and wireless networking. Prior to this position, Flanagan was the director of business development for Telogy Networks, acquired by TI in 1999, and vice president of sales and marketing for ADC Skyline. Flanagan also held various marketing, sales and business development positions during a 12 year career with Dynatech Communications. Flanagan received a bachelor's degree of science from James Madison UniversitySayeed Choudhury is the Director of Market Development, Digital Consumer Group at Wind River, the leader in commercial off-the-shelf embedded technology. While Wind River's development tools and embedded operating systems are used in a wide variety of embedded applications, Choudhury and his team are focused on OEMs designing digital consumer electronics, such as interactive set-top boxes, digital cameras, residential gateways and mobile smartphones. Prior to his current position, Choudhury has worked in Corporate Development (M&A), Business Development, and Product Marketing at Wind River. He also has experience as an embedded software development and system-level hardware development engineer at both Abbott Laboratories and Creative Labs. Robert Ferrari, Managing Director and Founder of Convergence Ventures - a global business development firm based in Boston. The firm offers business development, corporate strategy, product marketing and fund raising services to companies in the convergence sectors. Robert has thirteen years of executive level experience in managing companies focused in the consumer electronics, digital entertainment, media, and telecommunications sectors.
