What was a cable and satellite world, may soon have a new competitor in the area of content delivery to the consumer. First came the dial tone. Then long distance and that was followed by an international wireless network. Now that DSL has made its move as a leading technology into the home, moving the customer into a broadband video, broadcast services, movies on demand and other video services is only a few steps away. Telcos have the customers and the infrastructure, soon it will have entertainment content as well. In this capacity, he is responsible for shaping BellSouths broadband and Internet strategies. Mr. Ezell has served in several corporate strategy and marketing roles for BellSouth with an emphasis on the areas of broadband applications, IP services, and electronic commerce. Prior to joining BellSouth, Mr. Ezell was with The Boston Consulting Group and the IBM Corporation. Mr. Ezell is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Millsaps College.Joe Lynam, President, CEO and co-founder of PaymentOne Corp. Lynam, is the visionary and leader driving corporate strategy and overall direction for PaymentOne, the Internet's leading end-to-end Payment Service Provider. PaymentOne offers the digital content and services industry leading-edge payment solutions and strategies which substantially increase sales and customer acquisition rates. Previously, Lynam founded VRS Billing Systems, a billing company for telecommunications services. Within three years, he took that organization from startup to $30 million in annual revenues, and annual retail billings of greater than $300 million. An industry pioneer and visionary, Lynam created sophisticated fraud analytics, authentication controls and billing techniques that are in use throughout the industry today. Lynam has also held senior executive positions with companies such as Integretel, where he served as CEO, and AT&T, where, as National Billing Director, he was responsible for managing a large organization charged with implementing a nationwide billing system. Lynam holds a B.S. in Marketing from Santa Clara University.Jay Fausch, Sr. Director, Strategic Marketing, Alcatel Broadband Netwo rking Division - Broadband Access: Jay is Senior Director of Marketing at Alcatel's Fixed Communications Group in Raleigh, NC, where he is responsible for leading the company's strategic marketing efforts focusing on broadband access and DSL. Prior to joining Alcatel, he held key management positions at Lucent, Paradyne, Racal Data Communications and Westell Technologies. Jay is a DSL Forum Ambassador and is Chairman of the DSL Forum's Marketing Committee. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |
