Her day-to-day activities include optimizing ROI on organic traffic, internal marketing efforts and cross-platform assets while also developing and executing on a plan for reaching consumers outside of the Playboy universe while effectively managing ROI on such efforts. Prior to joining Playboy, Smith was the President of 3ob.com (THROB), a strategic marketing and business development agency in Los Angeles. Smith has also served as the Director of Corporate Marketing for AVN (Adult Video News) and as the brand manager for Erotic Networks where she was instrumental in the development strategy and marketing of several successful web sites, including TEN.com. Smith began her career in digital media in 1997, with the development of FrontierCoop.com, one of the first successful e-commerce sites in the holistic health industry, and she also worked in the ad and online department for LAWeekly.
