Steven Yee, Vice President and General Manager, AOL Movies and Moviefone, America Online, Inc.: As Vice President and General Manager of AOL Movies, Steven Yee is responsible for all day-to-day programming and business strategy for AOL Movies, which includes movies programming on both the AOL service and Moviefone. Mr. Yee leads the AOL Movies programming team in developing compelling movie programming and new franchises for moviegoers. In addition, Mr. Yee works with AOL's Interactive Marketing team to help create marketing solutions for movie studio advertising partners who wish to reach the U.S. vast movie-going audience. Previously, Mr. Yee was Vice President of Marketing for America Online's Web Properties Group, which includes Netscape, CompuServe, AOL Instant Messenger ™, ICQ, MapQuest and Moviefone. Before coming to America Online, Mr. Yee held the position of Managing Director of The Accelerator Group in New York, where his advisory work with portfolio companies involved branding and strategic marketing, customer acquisition and retention, and development of sales strategies and infrastructures. Mr. Yee also served as Vice President of Marketing for Sony Online Entertainment Inc., where he launched the online entertainment network, The Stations@sony.com. He also led marketing efforts for Sony's IMAX film initiatives for the Sony New Technologies division, the precursor to what is now known as Sony Online Entertainment.

John J. MacDonald, General Manager, FINE LIVING TV Network: John J. MacDonald is responsible for establishing and executing the overall strategy for FINE LIVING. Beginning in 1999, MacDonald served as president and CEO of innovatv.com in San Diego, a technology start-up where he successfully established key programming partnerships and established critical initial commercial relationships. Prior to joining innovatv.com, MacDonald spent six years working with Twentieth Century Fox/Twentieth Television, most recently as executive vice president, program enterprises and cable sales. In this position he was responsible for marketing the studio's film and television library to domestic basic cable networks, as well as leading several company-wide teams to evaluate new business and e-commerce initiatives. As senior vice president, program enterprises and cable sales, MacDonald developed and served as executive producer for the 65 episodes of the syndicated situation comedy Student Bodies which aired in the US and around the world. He also held positions as vice president, cable sales and director of business development, implementing business plans for opportunities such as the successful direct response Cops video series. MacDonald's past experience also includes work with the William Morris Agency in Beverly Hills, and McKinsey & Company in Los Angeles. MacDonald holds a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada, and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in Cambridge, Mass. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Cure Autism Now.

Liz Jones, Vice President, Digital Marketing, Twentieth Century Fox: In her present role as Vice President of Digital Marketing, Liz oversees the digital campaigns for all Twentieth Century Fox film productions. Over the past 7 years, Liz has built the digital marketing practice at the studio, educating and evangelizing the Internet and other new media technologies. Her work has enabled the studio to deliver interactive campaigns that create early awareness, build buzz, and ultimately deliver people to the theatre to see the movie. Moving beyond the boundaries of traditional movie marketing, Liz has developed some of the Web’s most memorable movie campaigns, including the global GeoCaching scavenger hunt for Planet of the Apes, X-Men’s MutantWatch campaign, the Clio award-winning site for Ice Age, and this year’s 9-language online multi-player online game for Fantastic Four. Within the past year, Liz has pioneered the studio’s mobile marketing strategy with a variety of bleeding-edge initiatives: the first cross-carrier studio shortcode with 20FOX (20369), exclusive only-for-mobile trailers on handsets over multiple carriers, and deep content suites on a wide range of Fox movies. Additionally, during this past summer, Liz oversaw the first-ever trial program to distribute free mobile content via Bluetooth proximity devices, working with Loews Theatres.

Matthew White, Executive, Vice President, National Geographic Television & Film, Digital Motion Group: As Vice President of the National Geographic Television & Film, Digital Motion Group, White is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with third party producers, agencies, and outside companies that license footage both domestically and internationally. White oversees the day-to-day operations of the video/film archiving and licensing division, which offers vast array of media elements, including raw footage, short programming, long programming, scientific experiments, interviews, lectures, news, history, and cultural materials to traditional media licensees as well as online, mobile, computer and video game developers and other new and emerging technologies. White joined National Geographic Television & Film after founding and presiding over WPA Film Library, a subsidiary of MPI Media Group in Chicago, for 13 years. At WPA, White managed the growth of the film library assets from 1,000 hours to 60,000 hours and led the company to its acquisition by the MPI Media Group, to allow further growth and competitiveness. Prior to WPA, White founded DOCUPOP in 1985, where he produced several short, award-winning programs for home video release. White was an Editorial Director for Entertainment and Computers at Publications International Ltd. from 1979 to 1985, managing the editorial staff on a wide variety of publications from The Whole Puzzle Catalog to The Best, Worst & Most Unusual Horror Films. White graduated Cum Laude from Beloit College with Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.

Neil McGinness, is Vice President for National Lampoon, known worldwide as a leading film and entertainment brand. At National Lampoon, McGinness develops entertainment-based strategic marketing programs through National Lampoon properties in film, television, radio, publishing, online, and on-campus through its in-dorm college cable television network. Before joining National Lampoon, Mr. McGinness spent 10 years working for Lorne Michaels' company, Broadway Video Entertainment eventually becoming Vice President for Marketing & Business Development. His clients have included Coca-Cola, MTV, Nokia, Showtime Networks, Philips Electronics, SONY, TDK, AOL and Airwalk Shoes. He holds a master's degree from NYU's Institute of Film and Television (Tisch School) and received a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University

Maria Thomas, Vice President, NPR Online: As vice president for NPR Online, Maria Thomas leads the talented team of writers, programmers, content developers, and designers that make possible NPR's Web site, npr.org. With 15 years of experience in high technology and finance, Maria brings to NPR a broad range of strategic business skills and expertise unique to the online environment. There couldn't be a more fitting job for her. She is an avid NPR radio listener who confesses to having an Internet addiction. Thomas joined NPR in October 2001, after more than two and one-half years with Amazon.com in Seattle, Washington. At Amazon.com, Thomas directed various Internet operations including the launch and management of Amazon.com's camera and photo store. She also developed and managed the company's partnership with Ofoto, a Kodak company engaged in the online photo services business. Maria also spent seven years as an investment officer with the World Bank's private sector arm, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), in Washington, DC. In 1995, she was awarded an Eisenhower Exchange Fellowship to study the limitations to financing small- and medium-sized enterprises in Argentina. In 1997, Ms. Thomas made the institution's first investment in a private company in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia. Her career at the IFC culminated with an appointment to the position of special assistant to the CEO of the IFC. Ms. Thomas began her career on Wall Street where she spent five years in corporate and project finance with Kidder, Peabody & Company, Incorporated. Thomas holds a M.B.A. degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.S. in accounting from Boston University. She passed the CPA exam in Massachusetts. Thomas lives in Washington D.C.

Jim Grannan, formerly the Executive Vice President of Mandalay Branded Entertainment, has built a career developing communication programs for business-to-business as well as for retail direct-to-consumer groups. Prior to Mandalay, Jim was the Chief Marketing Officer of PrimeWire, a software company delivering the presentment and management of insurance and financial products to small and mid-size companies. He was also a co-founder of THINK New Ideas, Inc., a publicly held business consultancy, during which time he developed marketing programs for some of the world’s most renowned companies to include Anheuser-Busch, P&G, Turner Broadcast Networks, Blockbuster, Six Continents Hotels, Royal Crown Cola and the United States Post Office. Jim was employed for 14 years with The Coca-Cola Company and with Bristol Myers-Squibb as a manager within various divisions of brand marketing.
