David Frerichs is VP and US General Manager at Coding Technologies. Most recently Founder, President, and CTO, iM Networks, he joined Coding Technologies in 2002 after being blown away by a demo of aacPlus. Mr. Frerichs brings with him over 11 years of human-interface, Internet infrastructure, multi-media, and semiconductor experience. With a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana/Chapmaign, Mr. Frerichs holds patents related to source-less virtual reality head-tracking and the scaling of virtual reality sensor data. With this foundation, he started Future Vision Technologies, Inc. to develop consumer VR products. After selling his first company to Fujitsu Microelectronics, Mr. Frerichs held senior positions at Silicon Graphics and 3Dlabs and developed significant overseas market experience in Japan. His successes include bringing to market the first Internet radio appliance (the Philips FW-i1000), helping to bring Cosmo Player to 25 Million desktops, working with NASA JPL to bring the Mars Pathfinder landing to the Web in 3D, initiating the first trans-pacific VRML broadcast, and founding the Web 3D Consortium.

Lisa Crane, Managing Partner, Media Venture Advisors. Ms. Crane has a reputation for strategic thinking, branding, and new economy leadership. From charting the course for a groundbreaking online entertainment venture to guiding one of the major television networks through uncharted Internet territory, her success stems from an ability to build and direct profit-oriented management teams. Lisa Crane is the Managing Partner of Media Venture Advisors, an e-consulting firm providing strategic consulting services to leading Internet and entertainment companies. Ms. Crane is the former president and CEO of Soundbreak.com, the interactive online music company. She was Vice President of NBC Interactive and General Manager of NBC.com, the network's flagship entertainment website. Prior to NBC, Ms. Crane served as Vice President of Universal Studios. Education & Affiliations: Lisa Crane holds an MBA from Pepperdine University and a bachelor's degree from UCLA. Crane has held seats on the boards of two public companies, and currently sits on the board of advisors of the Digital Media Marketing Organization, Proximity File, Spiderdance, On2.com, The Dial.com and Pulse Entertainment. Ms. Crane is active in the Motion Picture and Television Fund. She is also one of the most popular speakers on the internet conference circuit, having spoken at Internet World, Streaming Media West, emediatainment world, adtech, Ebiz, Digital Hollywood, NAB, the Morgan Stanley/Industry Standard Internet Summit, DDMI, CMJ/Change Music, BandWidth, Digital Coast 1999/2000, Herring on Hollywood, Variety's Internet Summit, Jupiter's PlugIn, Radio & Records, VIC's Industry Breakfast, and many others. Lisa has also taught several classes at major universities on e-business and entertainment, including USC and UCLA.

John Gardner, WW Marketing Manager, Digital Radio, Texas Instruments: John Gardner serves as the Worldwide Marketing Manager of Texas Instruments’ Digital Radio Group. While at TI, Gardner has been involved in marketing TMS320C5000 digital signal processors (DSP), hard disk drive (HDD) program management and the DSP Hotline. Other projects he has also worked on include the TMS320C6000/5000/2000 DSP and one-day workshops. Gardner joined TI in 1997 as a Technical Sales Associate. In 1998, he became a DSP product Technical Sales Representative in the Washington D.C. and Baltimore region, where he was responsible for managing more than 120 TI accounts including Lucent, Lockheed Martin and iBiquity. Gardner holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering and a bachelor of arts in history from the University of Notre Dame. While at Notre Dame, Gardner minored in Asia area studies. He is also affiliated with Phi Beta Kappa and Tau Beta Pi.
