In this session, we bring together a group of the most experienced professionals in the field of broadband advertising and content delivery and we look forward to it being a truly visionary look into the future of the marketplace. The projections on broadband into the home and workplace, along with the explosion in wireless, bring the issues of brand extension, advertising and commerce to the forefront of our industry once again. What can we seriously expect from the merger of content and commerce? With broadband and wireless taking off, it seems as if the entertainment and information industries have reached a new taking off point for the e-commerce revolution. With the technology just about in place, this time there will be no false start.

Chris Fralic, Entertainment Strategic Partnerships, eBay, Inc.: Chris Fralic is based in New York, and his role is to help the Entertainment Industry leverage eBay as a marketing platform. EBay is The World's Online Marketplace, with over 85 million registered users and over $22 Billion in annualized gross sales. Chris Fralic was previously responsible for the Music, Movies and Books categories on eBay, and was previously the VP of Business Development at Half.com, which eBay acquired in July 2000. Chris has over 19 years of technology industry experience, including significant Internet sales and business development roles at Oracle and AOL. Earlier in his career, he held senior sales and management roles in the computer reseller and consulting services industry. Chris earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from Villanova University and his MBA from St. Joseph's University.




Tena Clark, CEO, Disc Marketing: As CEO of Disc Marketing, Tena Clark is responsible for driving the company’s strategic direction. She brings to life the vision of using the power of music, in combination with visual and interactive content, to dimensionalize brands and empower companies to connect with target audiences. Clark has bridged music and marketing throughout her colorful career. She’s written for film and television with credits that include Where The Heart Is, Hope Floats, My Best Friend’s Wedding, French Kiss, Twins, The Five Heartbeats, CBS This Morning and Entertainment Tonight. She was commissioned in 2001 to write the theme song for NASA’s "Centennial of Flight" celebration. Clark has also penned gold and platinum-selling songs for numerous artists, including Dionne Warwick, Patti LaBelle, Olivia Newton-John and CeCe Winans. Most recently, Clark produced "Church: Songs of Soul & Inspiration," a dual Enhanced CD and CD box set featuring Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison and top African-American female artists such as Shirley Ceasar, Patti Austin, Patti LaBelle, Dionne Warwick, Chaka Khan, Jennifer Holliday, Nnenna Freelon and En Vogue who embraced their musical roots and performed a collection of favorite R&B, pop, classical and gospel songs. The songs Clark created for national commercial campaigns such as McDonalds ("Have You Had Your Break Today"), 7-Up and Pillsbury gave shape to Disc Marketing and its mission to be the leading developer of brand-centric marketing solutions that strategically combine the power of music with visual and interactive content. Hilmi Ozguc, Chief Executive Officer, Maven Networks, Inc.: With almost 20 years experience as a successful entrepreneur and executive in the software industry, Hilmi has a proven track record in bringing products to market that realize the Internet’s potential as a global communications and marketing vehicle. Named by Advertising Age as one of twenty "Digital Media Masters" leading the convergence of the media, advertising, and technology businesses, he is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, and has been widely quoted in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Business Week. Previously, Hilmi was co-founder and CEO of Narrative Communications Corp., a pioneer of rich media Internet advertising technologies and services. In less than four years, he guided Narrative and the development of its flagship Enliven product from a streaming media startup with $13 million in venture financing from Greylock, Accel Partners, and Carlyle Ventures to a $100 million acquisition by @Home Corp. in December 1998. Under his leadership, Narrative captured 70% market share, grew its revenue 800% annually and served numerous Fortune 500 enterprises including American Express, AT&T, Citibank, General Motors, IBM, and Procter & Gamble. Among Narrative’s customers were global advertising agencies BBDO, McCann-Erickson, Ogilvy & Mather, Saatchi & Saatchi, and Young & Rubicam, while over 400 leading Web publishers adopted Enliven as a standard ad format. Before co-founding Narrative in 1995, Hilmi spent seven years with Lotus Development Corp., a $1 billion revenue leader in enterprise software, where he held a variety of senior management roles in product development, marketing, and international operations. Prior to joining Lotus, Hilmi was a software architect and engineering manager for electronic design automation systems at Mitsubishi Semiconductor and its R&D Labs in Japan. Hilmi received a M.S. degree in Software Engineering and a B.S. degree in Systems Engineering, both from Boston University.

Mariana Danilovic is the Managing Direoctor and founder of Hollywood Portfolio, LLC, an entertainment marketing and production company that focuses on selecting and developing a unique portfolio of film & TV products for optimal representation of Fortune 500 corporate brands in Hollywood. Ms. Danilovic is also a co-Founder with Mr. Randall A. Smith and co-Managing Director of Mission Malibu Ventures that focuses on LBO, turn-around, and funding of both private and public companies in digital media, technology, and medical devices areas. Ms. Danilovic serves as a Managing Director of TechSpotter, a premier venture and private equity investment marketplace founded by its President, Jack Burns, that focuses on technology, medical devices, digital media, and consumer ventures. Prior to founding Hollywood Portfolio, LLC, Mariana Danilovic was the CEO of WITI (Women in Technology International). WITI is the first and only international for profit organization dedicated solely to advancing women through access to technology, capital, and business development opportunities. WITI’s primary source of revenues is sponsorship from some of the top tier Fortune 500 companies, including Dell, Raytheon, Texas Instruments, Visa International, Ely Lily, Daimler-Chrysler, GE Capital, IBM, Intel, and many others. Prior to WITI, Ms. Danilovic was the CEO of Digital Media X LLC (DMX), which she founded in 2000. DMX provided venture, later stage private equity, and business development services to technology, TV, film, video gaming, music, and digital media and convergence companies. In 1997 Ms. Danilovic founded and directed the Digital Media Group at KPMG LLP. This practice developed numerous "cutting-edge" entertainment companies, including Market Wire, Tonos, DEN, Thirsty, Enband, mySMART, WalkThisWay, FirstLook.com, E-Poll, CatchTV, and QSTV. Intel, Cox and Hewlett-Packard are some of the strategic investors in these ventures. The practice successfully facilitated the sale of The Well to the Salon prior to its initial public offering. The companies Ms. Danilovic developed at KPMG LLP received first round institutional funding from such well-known venture capital firms as Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia Capital, Hummer-Winblad, Constellation Partners, Softbank and North Star Ventures. Prior to joining KPMG, Ms. Danilovic headed business development for Peter Guber’s Mandalay Entertainment. She was also part of the management team of the $60 million fund at Sony Pictures Entertainment that made investments in media and digital media companies worldwide. She also worked with Mike Milken’s Knowledge exchange and at the Twentieth Century Fox International Television Group. Prior to attending business school, she worked in Product Management and Mergers & Acquisitions for Transamerica and SunAmerica. Ms. Danilovic earned a Masters in Business Administration from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from University of California at San Diego. Ms. Danilovic served on the Board of Directors of the Zone Club, served on the Board of Directors of the California Culture Net, Board of Directors of VIC, and was a member of the former Los Angeles Mayor Riordan's Digital Coast Roundtable.

EBay is The World’s Online Marketplace, with over 69 million registered users and over $21 Billion in annualized gross sales, including 10 CDs and 5 LPs sold every minute. Chris Fralic was previously responsible for the Music, Movies and Books categories on eBay, and was previously the VP of Business Development at Half.com, which eBay acquired in July 2000. Marc Ryan, Director of Analysis, Nielsen//NetRatings: Marc Ryan brings extensive background in online and offline advertising research to Nielsen//NetRatings. Providing insight and analysis for the robust data Nielsen//NetRatings extracts from the online world, Mr. Ryan works with top-tier clients to devise winning strategies through the creative use of large, complex market information databases. Mr. Ryan started his career working with top-ranked market researcher Millward Brown, where he conducted research projects for a variety of clients including General Motors, American Express, Unilever and Kraft. After his promotion to Director of Research for Millward Brown’s Internet division, he led numerous internet-based research studies, eventually surveying over 150,000 Internet users. In August 1999 he joined AdRelevance, where he served as Director of Media Research, and was responsible for managing the "Intelligence" series of analytical reports. Mr. Ryan is recognized as an expert in media measurement and effectiveness. His overall knowledge of the online industry is sought after by leading newspapers and industry journals including, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Ad Week, Business 2.0 and Forbes. Mr. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing and Communications from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.

Susan S. Bratton, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, mailblocks, inc.: Susan Bratton’s 22 years of experience in marketing and sales dovetails perfectly with Mailblocks’ strategy to leverage the best that technology offers on behalf of the consumer market. Most recently, Ms. Bratton founded her second rep firm, Cendara, Inc., with a hand-picked, thoughtful roster of next generation companies that offer better "marketing mousetraps" for her power-rolodex of customers in the high-tech, consumer goods, retail, finance, automotive and telecommunications industries. Prior to Cendara, Ms. Bratton was the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Excite@Home’s media business, in charge of PR, marketing and the advertising sales organization. This was the most recent position in her six-year career with the company where she was fortunate to manage the team that invented broadband online advertising. Prior to Excite@Home she was an independent publisher’s representative, having founded her own company and first rep firm, Media Associates, in 1988. Susan Bratton currently serves on the advisory board of Effective Brands and has held board and advisory board positions with Enliven, Inc, Unicast, DeltaClick and the ADTECH series of professional conferences. She has been the Chair of ADTECH since 2002. Ms. Bratton provided five years of industry leadership on the Board of the Internet Advertising Bureau, www.iab.net, which brings standards and leadership to the online media market, including one election as Vice Chairman. Additionally, she is recognized by Advertising Age magazine as a "Digital Media Master" – one of the top 25 most influential professionals in the online media space.
