| Thursday, January 5 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM Track II - ME8: Mobile Content & Commerce: Off Deck and MVNO Options As hundreds of millions of consumers nationally and billions worldwide make and rely on mobile their primary communications tool, the value of the market as a commercial vehicle explodes in unimaginable ways. What will the services of the future be, who will participate in delivering those services and how will the revenue be both generated and shared in the process is a fascinating discussion. It is clear that the basic bottleneck of both technology, content and revenue which currently rests within the universe of the service provider will evolve into a shared experience among many tiers of players. Much like the cable industrys evolution into an expanded relationship with partners, the service providers are entering and experimenting in a world of MVNO, Mobile Virtual Network Operators which may typically be a branded form of mobile access for the consumer to web based content access to the consumer which the service provider may enhance or simply enable. In this session, we will begin to explore how the new expanded technology, content and revenue based relationships are evolving.
