Game Power II – PC & Mobile Games Expand Total Entertainment Market Share
Games may be the single most important killer application in the PC, Broadband and Mobile Universe. As the power of the PC expands, the power of the game playing experience explodes along with it. While the media attention may be going to the new generation of consoles, the PC gaming experience along with its natural allies of broadband and hardcore and role-playing multiplayer and finally onto the expansion into the casual and mobile universe, the gaming universe – across platforms - is only hitting stride. This is not an industry taking a pause, it is an industry taking a continual high speed ride.
