The ever expanding boundaries of entertainment in the national as well as global culture presents not just opportunities for specific brand extension or advertising, the merger of Hollywood and Madison Ave. represents a quantitative shift in the creative process. As the consumer alters its relationship to media, integrating broadband into every aspect of everyday life - from the mobile, to the public space and into the home - the power of the electronic message, whether delivered as advertising or via movies, TV, games, news or even as a function of the communications device itself, is a transformational tool. The industry is now experiencing its first steps in the fusion of marketing, entertainment and content. The real excitement will be found as the creative talent in the industry gets to experiment, innovate and produce new forms.

Paul Condolora is vice president and general manager, Cartoon Network New Media. In this capacity, he is responsible for all aspects of Cartoon Network’s rapidly growing U.S. interactive business ventures, including the network’s Internet sites (www.CartoonNetwork.com and Adultswim.com) as well as the expansion of network and character brands to emerging new content platforms such as video on demand, mobile, broadband and interactive television. He is based in Atlanta, Ga. Condolora came to Cartoon Network New Media from Sony Pictures Imageworks in Los Angeles, where he lead the multimedia department. At Imageworks, Condolora supervised more than 20 projects, many award-winning, including visual effects for feature films and television shows, Internet games and promotional Web sites. He has also managed the U.S.-based software development for Sony’s groundbreaking AIBO entertainment robot. Prior to his role at Imageworks, Condolora was the director of special projects for Sony Pictures Entertainment, focusing on business development. Condolora began his entertainment career as a member of Columbia Pictures’ management associates program. Condolora earned a master’s degree in entertainment management from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA and a bachelor of science from the State University of New York. Additionally, Condolora is an independent filmmaker and a Certified Public Accountant (New York State).

Chris Fralic, Entertainment Strategic Partnerships, eBay, Inc.: Chris Fralic is based in New York, and his role is to help the Entertainment Industry leverage eBay as a marketing platform. EBay is The World's Online Marketplace, with over 114 million registered users and over $32 Billion in annualized gross sales. Chris Fralic was previously responsible for the Music, Movies and Books categories on eBay, and was previously the VP of Business Development at Half.com, which eBay acquired in July 2000. Chris has over 20 years of technology industry experience, including significant Internet sales and business development roles at Oracle and AOL. Earlier in his career, he held senior sales and management roles in the computer reseller and consulting services industries. Chris earned his undergraduate degree in Finance from Villanova University and his MBA from St. Joseph's University.



Steven Katleman, Shareholder, Entertainment Practice, Greenberg Traurig, LLP: Steve Katleman is an entertainment lawyer who represents clients in all aspects of the television and motion picture industries, as well as other entities throughout the business of entertainment. He represents artists, including writers, producers and performers, as well as production entities, from artist-owned boutiques to public companies, which create and supply programming to broadcasters and distributors. Steve represents several major international consumer product brands and has counseled these companies on their approaches to the entertainment industy. He has made pioneering deals for product integration in television programing both on behalf of brands and television production companies.



Neil McGinness, is Vice President for National Lampoon, known worldwide as a leading film and entertainment brand. At National Lampoon, McGinness develops entertainment-based strategic marketing programs through National Lampoon properties in film, television, radio, publishing, online, and on-campus through its in-dorm college cable television network. Before joining National Lampoon, Mr. McGinness spent 10 years working for Lorne Michaels' company, Broadway Video Entertainment eventually becoming Vice President for Marketing & Business Development. His clients have included Coca-Cola, MTV, Nokia, Showtime Networks, Philips Electronics, SONY, TDK, AOL and Airwalk Shoes. He holds a master's degree from NYU's Institute of Film and Television (Tisch School) and received a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University

Andy Lipschultz, Product Manager, Digital Media, Nextel Communications: Andy Lipshultz has more than 10 years of entertainment technology experience. The first half of his career was spent in the traditional music industry in sales and marketing at EMI-Capitol Music Group. Lipshultz has since held key marketing positions at CMJ, Pressplay and Sony Electronics. As Product Manager at Nextel Communications, Lipshultz oversees all music and imagery products. He has a MBA in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the New York University Stern School of Business and an undergraduate degree from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Communications.

Tena Clark, CEO, Disc Marketing: As CEO of Disc Marketing, Tena Clark is responsible for driving the company’s strategic direction. She brings to life the vision of using the power of music, in combination with visual and interactive content, to dimensionalize brands and empower companies to connect with target audiences. Clark has bridged music and marketing throughout her colorful career. She’s written for film and television with credits that include Where The Heart Is, Hope Floats, My Best Friend’s Wedding, French Kiss, Twins, The Five Heartbeats, CBS This Morning and Entertainment Tonight. She was commissioned in 2001 to write the theme song for NASA’s "Centennial of Flight" celebration. Clark has also penned gold and platinum-selling songs for numerous artists, including Dionne Warwick, Patti LaBelle, Olivia Newton-John and CeCe Winans. Most recently, Clark produced "Church: Songs of Soul & Inspiration," a dual Enhanced CD and CD box set featuring Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison and top African-American female artists such as Shirley Ceasar, Patti Austin, Patti LaBelle, Dionne Warwick, Chaka Khan, Jennifer Holliday, Nnenna Freelon and En Vogue who embraced their musical roots and performed a collection of favorite R&B, pop, classical and gospel songs. The songs Clark created for national commercial campaigns such as McDonalds ("Have You Had Your Break Today"), 7-Up and Pillsbury gave shape to Disc Marketing and its mission to be the leading developer of brand-centric marketing solutions that strategically combine the power of music with visual and interactive content. Disc Marketing clients over the past six years include some of the world’s leading consumer brands, such as Betty Crocker, General Mills, Johnson & Johnson, Kellogg’s, Mead Johnson, 7 UP, Target, Toyota, United Airlines and Victoria’s Secret. Clark works closely with the Disc Marketing team of best-in-class professionals from brand marketing, the music industry, advertising agencies, film studios and technology companies. Michael Kassan, Entertainment and Media Consultant: Michael E. Kassan is a nationally recognized leader in the area of media and entertainment. Mr. Kassan is a strategic/brand development consultant presently to brands and companies including Home Depot, National Lampoon, Visible World, DIC Entertainment, Mindshare Worldwide, Ideal Entertainment, Brandsense, Warner Home Entertainment, Revolution Studios, Entertainment Industry Foundation, Microsoft, Verizon, Constellation Ventures (Bear Stearns), Cerberus Capital Management and The Leverage Group. Previously, Mr. Kassan was the President/Chief Operating Officer and Vice-Chairman of Initiative Media Worldwide a division of The Interpublic Group of Companies (IPG:NYSE), at the time, the largest and most diversified media management company in the world, with more than 75 offices in North America, Europe and Asia. In 1997, he was named one of the top media executives in America by Advertising Age magazine. Mr. Kassan joined Initiative Media Worldwide in 1994 and was instrumental in the sale of the company to IPG. While there, he oversaw the day-to-day operations in North America and was the architect of the firm’s international expansion and grew media billings from $1.5 billion to over $10 billion. Mr. Kassan, an attorney was counsel to the Los Angeles law firm of Christensen, Miller, Fink, Jacobs, Glaser, Weil & Shapiro. He had been President and Chief Operating Officer of International Video Entertainment (Artisan Entertainment). Mr. Kassan is a director and advisor to many charitable and community organizations, currently serving on the Board of the Hollywood Radio and Television Society, and previously serving on the Commission on California State Government Organization and Economy. He also has been Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on the Entertainment Industry in California and in 1998 was elected to the Board of the American Advertising Federation. Mr. Kassan serves on the following Boards as Director: H.E.L.P Group, Big Brothers of Los Angeles, Stephen S. Wise Temple and Skirball Cultural Center.
