In this session, we bring together a group of the most experienced professionals in the field of broadband advertising and content delivery and we look forward to it being a truly visionary look into the future of the marketplace. The projections of broadband into the home and workplace, along with the explosion in wireless, bring the issues of brand extension, advertising and commerce to the forefront of our industry once again. What can we seriously expect from the merger of content and commerce? With broadband and wireless taking off, it seems as if the entertainment and information industries have reached a new taking off point for the e-commerce revolution. With the technology just about in place, this time there will be no false start.

Cliff Marks, Regal CineMedia, president, marketing and sales, is the architect behind "The 2wenty," a first-of-its-kind digitally delivered pre feature program that combines entertainment content and advertising, currently presented on more than 5,000 screens at Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theatres and Edwards Theatres nationwide. Each month "The 2wenty," in partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment, Universal Pictures, NBC and TBS, showcases these leading entertainment companies’ brands and other products to over 22 million engaged and attentive moviegoers. Cliff can talk about how marketers are using new technology and the cinema as a way to connect with hard-to-reach consumers, especially active, technology-driven 18-34 year-old men.

Dale Hopkins, Senior VP, Distribution and Ad Sales, G4techTV: An honored cable industry executive with a wealth of start-up experience, Dale Hopkins leads all advertising and affiliate sales efforts for G4. Prior to joining G4, Hopkins served as President of iwin.com, an incentive-based entertainment company with a focus on online games. At iwin, Hopkins managed all aspects of the company’s strategic financial planning and day-to-day operations as well as supervised iwin.com’s online creative development, sales, marketing and branding efforts. From 1992-1999, Hopkins was Senior VP, Marketing for E! Entertainment Television where she ran promotions, advertising, creative services and public relations. At E!, Hopkins developed strategic partnerships with companies such as NBC, Planet Hollywood, Universal Studios, and AMC Theatres as well as with magazines such as "Rolling Stone," and "Entertainment Weekly." Her marketing strategies are widely credited with increasing E!’s brand awareness and helping to build subsequent ratings growth. Also at E!, Hopkins was co-founder of the website E! Online and was a key member of the launch team for the style.™ network. Throughout her career, Hopkins has been honored with industry accolades, including being named "One of Cable’s 100 Most Influential People" by "CableFax Magazine;" a member of "The Media Elite" by "Mediaweek;" and an "Unsung Hero of the Cable Television Industry" by "Cablevision Magazine." In 1993, she received the prestigious President’s Award for Leadership from the Cable Television Advertising Bureau. Most recently, Hopkins received the esteemed Promax Brand Builder Award 2003. Prior to her executive roles at E!, Hopkins held various senior-level sales positions at CNBC and CBS Television.

Susan Bratton, SVP Sales and Marketing, Maven Networks: If Susan were an ad - her headline would be "Lives to Launch." As SVP Sales & Marketing at Maven Networks, she has her second crack at leveraging interactive broadband technology. Inventing broadband advertising with her team at @Home Network in the nascent days of the Internet was her "1.0." At Maven, Susan decries the chunky, tiny-windowed streaming video sent to broadband users. She is helping marketers deepen their consumer relationships by creating episodic full-screen, interactive DVD-quality video with Maven's design tools and cost-effective delivery system. Steeped in interactive marketing, Susan brought innovative advertising solutions to pioneering marketers and agencies by combining the best of @Home Network, Excite, BlueMountain Arts, Enliven and MatchLogic as SVP Sales & Marketing. Recently Susan launched the critically-acclaimed spam-free consumer email service from Mailblocks utilizing her accumulated interactive marketing tricks to monetize that web service and drive customer acquisition. "Loves to lunch" may be her tag line - an indefatigable booster for interactive marketing, Susan has served on numerous corporate boards and logged five years of service, including election as Vice Chair, for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and as advisor to AD:TECH, the industry's leading conference where she's been Chair, managing programming and speaker selection since 2002. AdAge has recognized Susan as a "Digital Media Master" and one of the "10 Internet's Pioneers." She continues to be a sought-after speaker, presenting at over 50 media, marketing and interactive conferences.

Lauren de la Fuente, Vice President, Ad & Affiliate Marketing, G4techTV: Lauren de la Fuente brings her wealth of experience and diverse expertise in launching young adult marquee brands, including NIKE and MTV, to her current position as Vice President, Ad and Affiliate Marketing for G4techTV. Heading up the strategic and creative marketing initiatives for the Comcast-owned television network, de la Fuente develops branded programming as well as directs positioning, creative and promotions. Her accomplishments at G4techTV include creating a branded show for Proctor & Gamble’s Pringles called "Cheat! Pringles Gamers Guide" and an Entertainment Weekly partnership consisting of both editorial and programming called "G4techTV and EW Present the Top 100 Video Games of All Time." Prior to G4techTV, de la Fuente served as Vice President, Creative for USA Network and Sci Fi channel. While there, she oversaw the repositioning and rebranding efforts for both networks and established an in-house agency responsible for all advertising, design and collateral. Previous to Sci Fi/USA, de la Fuente was the Vice President, Marketing at MTV where she spearheaded all marketing, advertising, communication and promotional activities for MTV’s ad and affiliate clients and was on the launch team for MTV2. de la Fuente also ran Creative and Regional Marketing for Nike, where she developed a national outreach program for the Sundance award-winning film, Hoop Dreams, and worked at Chiat/Day on the Teddy Ruxpin account. de la Fuente’s achievements in brand-building have won her numerous awards with prestigious organizations including Promax, BDA and CTAM’s Mark. She is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, and her favorite video game is Ms. Pac Man.

Mariana Danilovic is the Managing Direoctor and founder of Hollywood Portfolio, LLC, an entertainment marketing and production company that focuses on selecting and developing a unique portfolio of film & TV products for optimal representation of Fortune 500 corporate brands in Hollywood. Ms. Danilovic is also a co-Founder with Mr. Randall A. Smith and co-Managing Director of Mission Malibu Ventures that focuses on LBO, turn-around, and funding of both private and public companies in digital media, technology, and medical devices areas. Ms. Danilovic serves as a Managing Director of TechSpotter, a premier venture and private equity investment marketplace founded by its President, Jack Burns, that focuses on technology, medical devices, digital media, and consumer ventures. Prior to founding Hollywood Portfolio, LLC, Mariana Danilovic was the CEO of WITI (Women in Technology International). WITI is the first and only international for profit organization dedicated solely to advancing women through access to technology, capital, and business development opportunities. WITI’s primary source of revenues is sponsorship from some of the top tier Fortune 500 companies, including Dell, Raytheon, Texas Instruments, Visa International, Ely Lily, Daimler-Chrysler, GE Capital, IBM, Intel, and many others. Prior to WITI, Ms. Danilovic was the CEO of Digital Media X LLC (DMX), which she founded in 2000. DMX provided venture, later stage private equity, and business development services to technology, TV, film, video gaming, music, and digital media and convergence companies. In 1997 Ms. Danilovic founded and directed the Digital Media Group at KPMG LLP. This practice developed numerous "cutting-edge" entertainment companies, including Market Wire, Tonos, DEN, Thirsty, Enband, mySMART, WalkThisWay, FirstLook.com, E-Poll, CatchTV, and QSTV. Intel, Cox and Hewlett-Packard are some of the strategic investors in these ventures. The practice successfully facilitated the sale of The Well to the Salon prior to its initial public offering. The companies Ms. Danilovic developed at KPMG LLP received first round institutional funding from such well-known venture capital firms as Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia Capital, Hummer-Winblad, Constellation Partners, Softbank and North Star Ventures. Prior to joining KPMG, Ms. Danilovic headed business development for Peter Guber’s Mandalay Entertainment. She was also part of the management team of the $60 million fund at Sony Pictures Entertainment that made investments in media and digital media companies worldwide. She also worked with Mike Milken’s Knowledge exchange and at the Twentieth Century Fox International Television Group. Prior to attending business school, she worked in Product Management and Mergers & Acquisitions for Transamerica and SunAmerica. Ms. Danilovic earned a Masters in Business Administration from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from University of California at San Diego. Ms. Danilovic served on the Board of Directors of the Zone Club, served on the Board of Directors of the California Culture Net, Board of Directors of VIC, and was a member of the former Los Angeles Mayor Riordan's Digital Coast Roundtable.

Kate Everett-Thorp, President, Interactive Advertising, AKQA: Kate Everett-Thorp is President of Interactive Advertising at AKQA. She oversees the online advertising operations across AKQA’s offices worldwide. Before joining AKQA, Kate was the former Chairman and Chief Marketing Officer of Carat Interactive. Kate came to Carat when her agency Lot21 was acquired in January 2002. She served as president & CEO of Lot21, a digital marketing, media and advertising agency she founded in 1996. Her unique background includes experience as television reporter, U.S. congressional aide, writer, media executive, CNET online crusader and co-founder of the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB). Recognized by Advertising Age as one of the "Top 25 Women to Watch" and inducted in to the Hall of Achievement by the American Advertising Federation, Kate has shared in all perspectives: Executive, Advertiser, Publisher and trade organizations responsible for providing standards and accountability. Strategically, Kate has lead the charge from developing standards to top end advertising programs at leading advertising agencies such as McCann Erickson Worldwide and J. Walter Thompson. She has been one of the most influential evangelists of the Web and is dedicated to education and information online.

Sam Huxley, Director of Internet Strategy, BrandBuzz, a Young & Rubicam Brand: As Director of Internet Strategy for BrandBuzz, Sam has been responsible for creating interactive concepts for clients such as Sunkist, Schweppes, dnL, Sony, LG Mobile phones, Absolut, and Del Monte. Sam pioneered the first IM agent-based CSD campaign, led the first sponsorship integration in a major game console title, and concepted the successful "Make Your Mark" online promotion for Sony, which won the Interactive Pro Award in 2003. Additionally, Sam co-founded BIG (Bounce Interactive Gaming) in May 2004 and serves as Chief Strategic Officer. In this role, he creates marketing plans for the clients of Y&R Brands across the quickly emerging videogame platform. Prior to joining Brand Buzz, Sam was the Director of Creative Strategy with Luminant Worldwide and the Brand Dialogue Group at Y&R. In this position he created creative concepts, interactive strategies, and architectures for clients such as AT&T, Visteon, and USPS, and was instrumental in winning interactive assignments from Sony and Philip Morris. He began his career at the Corporation for Public Broadcasting's Education Department as a Technical Associate in 1995 where he reviewed interactive grant proposals and did strategic development for the Ready To Learn program. Sam graduated from St. John's College in Annapolis, Maryland, and currently resides in Manhattan with his wife, Elsa.

Neal Weinberg is President of Sales and Marketing at BroadcastPC. BroadcastPC is the first company to successfully deliver full screen high-definition DVD quality simulcasts to millions of viewers, independent of available bandwidth or an active Internet connection at the time of broadcast. Prior to joining BroadcastPC, Mr. Weinberg was a board member of L90, now known as MaxWorldwide and owned by Ask Jeeves. Here he was responsible for securing the initial rounds of financing for the company and establishing their New York and London offices. In his 3_ years at the company, Mr. Weinberg saw the company complete a successful IPO and realize tremendous growth. Prior to MaxWorldwide, Mr. Weinberg served as the Internet Media Consultant for Paramount Pictures, where he focused on the establishment of Paramount Digital Entertainment’s Internet sales efforts. Before Paramount, Mr. Weinberg co-founded Screaming Media Inc., now known as Pinnacor (Nasdaq: PCOR), which was acquired by CBS Marketwatch for $103 million in July 2003. During his tenure at Screaming Media, Mr. Weinberg served as the company’s President and secured the company’s initial financing from James D Robinson, III, former American Express Chairman and the late *legendary adman* Jay Chiat of Chiat/Day Advertising. Mr. Weinberg began his career at ABC Television Network in 1989. A few years later, he moved on to hold positions at Landmark Communications’ The Weather Channel and The Travel Channel as an Account Executive. Mr. Weinberg is a graduate of Emory University with a BBA in Finance.
