Tom Flanagan, Director, Broadband Strategy, Broadband Communications Group, Texas Instruments: Tom Flanagan is Director, Broadband Strategy for Texas Instruments Broadband Communications Group. TIs broadband communications business includes cable modems, digital subscriber line (DSL) modems, integrated access devices (IADs), Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) gateways, carrier infrastructure, and home and office wireless networking. Prior to this, Mr. Flanagan was Director, Business Development for Telogy Networks and Vice President Sales and Marketing for ADC Skyline. Mr. Flanagan also held various marketing, sales and business development positions during a 12 year career with Dynatech Communications. He holds a B.S. degree from James Madison University.
Ved Sen, Founder & CEO, Think Plank: Ved Sen has 12 years of experience, most of it in the Technology industry, working with media clients. His areas of work have included Business Analysis, Driving New Projects, Marketing, Strategy, Consulting, and Business Development. Ved finished his education at the IIM, Ahmedabad, India. He is an early member of the Intellect UK's IDCC (Digital Convergence Council) and continues to work with Intellect in helping to drive Convergence thinking & initiatives. A regular speaker and blogger, he is passionate about the digital convergence phenomenon and it's impact on business and culture.
David Graham, Chief Executive, DGA: David formed DGA in 1990 to develop data and research services for independent TV and film producers. The companys clients have included the European Commission, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the Office of Fair Trading, Ofcom, and many of the best-known UK production houses. DGAs data processing division, DGA Metrics, is now one of the largest independent suppliers of specialist screen and industry research in the UK. Davids career in broadcasting began at the BBC, as a producer in the Current Affairs department of BBC Network Television. In 1980, David founded Diverse Production Limited, an independent production company, which supplied current affairs programmes to Channel Four. David built Diverse Production into one of the largest independent producers in the country. David was educated at the Universities of Bristol and Indiana. He is a member of The Royal Television Society and has been awarded a medal for Outstanding Services to Television.
Alex Green, Research Director for Broadband and Home Networking, IMS Research: Alex Green joined IMS in 1996 after obtaining a BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Loughborough University, England. During his time at IMS, Alex has produced many market reports covering topics such as cellular handsets, cellular base stations, cordless phones, professional mobile radio, wireless enterprise communications, WiFi, home networks, semiconductors in wireless applications and broadband wireless access. For a number of years Alex headed up IMS' research into the cellular market but as of 2006 he manages the company's Access, Connectivity and Storage (ACS) team. The ACS team offers a wide portfolio of research on short range wireless, broadband and data storage markets.
