Within the world of the Broadband, Social Networks, TV, the Set-Top, Mobile and PVR experience, searching for content, making accessible the content and at the same time, offering an advertising and marketing experience is our challenge. Everything from blogging and Podcasting to Interactive TV is altering the user experience completely. The industry is finding a ready audience with an ever growing demand for better content and a better and a completely personalized experience. With the massive amount of content and technology being thrown at the consumer, navigating through that experience is not only difficult, it can be off-putting. We have entered the world of integrated user experience – the post-TiVo generation of consumers and viewers who are watching and listening to new forms of content on new platforms of technology.

Ram Velidi,
Partner, Sevin Rosen Funds: Ram Velidi is a Sevin Rosen Funds Partner operating out of Dallas, and currently serves on the boards of BIAP, Encryptanet, Jacket Micro Devices, Reach My Doctor, and Vesalius Ventures, a seed-stage VC accelerator specializing in telemedicine. He has also served as start-up CEO for a SRF portfolio company, Cyntrust, a wireless service provider in the push-to-talk market. Prior to joining SRF in 2001, Mr. Velidi held management positions in the wireless industry at Nortel Networks, Texas Instruments, and Xybridge (subsequently acquired by Zhone). Ram Velidi is a graduate of India's Bangalore University and received a PhD in engineering from Texas A & M University. He is a member of the Texas A&M Electrical Engineering advisory board. Murgesh Navar,
founder and CEO of Podbridge, brings deep engineering, business-development and entrepreneurial expertise to the development, launch and growth of Podbridge. Prior to founding Podbridge, Murgesh co-founded Audiofeast, a start-up company that developed a consumer audio service for portable devices. His experience at Audiofeast led him to recognize the power of podcasting and the need for a business model to enable advertising in the new medium. Murgesh previously built and led product development teams for a billion-dollar line of workstations at Silicon Graphics, and open platforms for delivering enhanced content and services to television at Liberate Technologies, a joint venture between Netscape and Oracle. He subsequently led Liberate’s penetration of Asia-Pacific markets as the head of Asia Pacific sales and business development. Murgesh holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bangalore University and an M.S. in Computer Science from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology.

Chase Norlin
is the CEO of Pixsy Corporation and was most recently a Senior Business Development Executive at ValueClick (NASDAQ:VCLK) focused on publisher distribution and emerging technologies for the ValueClick Media Ad Network and other divisions including PriceRunner and Search. Previously, Mr. Norlin was a Senior Business Development Consultant to InfoSpace (NASDAQ:INSP) focused on publisher distribution and emerging applications. Mr. Norlin created Sony's first online photo sharing venture, the web's first video sharing company, and was a Strategy Consultant to Boeing where he launched Boeing's online photo and video licensing division. Mr. Norlin received his BA from UC Berkeley and MA from The University of Chicago.












David Hyman is the CEO and Founder of MOG (www.mog.com), an online community where music lovers can quickly and easily show the world what they’re listening to, express their musical tastes, and discover people through music and music through people. A digital media pioneer who started the first music website and sold one of the first ads on the Internet, Hyman has presented at countless digital media conferences, including Ad:Tech, CMJ, Digital Hollywood at CES, Digital Music Forum, and Plug.IN. The media often turn to Hyman as a charismatic, knowledgeable, and insightful expert resource. Recent media coverage of Hyman and MOG has included Billboard, Hollywood Reporter, MTV.com, Newsweek, Red Herring, Reuters, and Spin. Prior to MOG, Hyman held various roles (CEO, Executive VP, and Chief Strategy Officer) at Gracenote, the world's largest music database and music identification service. His successes included raising venture capital from Sequoia Ventures and bringing the company from $50,000 in annual booked revenue to over $20 million in four years. He was responsible for all aspects of the business, including the creation and development of Gracenote's formidable consumer electronics business, which is now responsible for approximately 50% of the company's revenue. Hyman played an integral role in the build-out of Gracenote's international business, including the creation of Gracenote Japan KK, and established sales offices in China, Korea, and Europe. Hyman created new businesses for Gracenote including song identification and state-of-the-art playlist management services. As SVP-Marketing at MTV Interactive, the digital holding company for all of MTV's online properties, Hyman oversaw all marketing activities for MTV.com, and VH1.com. His successes included leading an innovative 30 person guerilla marketing team and production of a highly successful $30 million television campaign. Hyman came to MTV through its acquisition of SonicNet, where he had been SVP, Sales & Marketing. At SonicNet, Hyman broke new ground in the online music arena, creating bleeding-edge products for ad sponsorships, including the development of the Web's first "Video-On-Demand" (V.O.D) platform, Streamland, the premiere website for music V.O.D. Before SonicNet, Hyman was co-founder of Addicted To Noise, the Web's first online music website. There, he was instrumental in shaping the perception that the Web is a place to build a brand for online marketers. Hyman brought many major brands online for the first time including Levi's, Coca Cola, Microsoft and Ford. Hyman forged the merger between Addicted To Noise and SonicNet, creating the largest online music website at the time. Hyman began his Internet career in 1994, when he pioneered the concepts of online advertising at Hotwired, the first online site that displayed advertising. While at Hotwired, David and the sales team sold the first online ads and developed many of the formats and metrics that are still used today, including the "ad banner", and "click-through rates." When Hyman is not thinking about online music experiences, he enjoys listening to music, obsessing on his stereo equipment, cooking, eating, snowboarding and spending time with his family.

Mark Larkin, Executive Producer, CNET Broadband and Webcasting, CNET Networks Inc.: With almost 10 years experience in online digital production, Mark Larkin, executive producer of CNET Broadband and Webcasting, is responsible for managing a team of video and technical producers who develop and execute on CNET Networks broadband video strategy and mission for the consumer electronics and small business categories. He was instrumental in the development of several original video series focusing on lifestyle content such as "First Looks from the Labs," "Insider Secrets," "Car Tech," "Weekend Project," and "Hot Houses." He also worked closely with the technical team to develop standards for online video production and compression as well as specs for advertisers. Since joining CNET Networks in 1996, Mark has held several production roles including associate producer, producer and senior producer. Through a partnership CNET.com had with Edmunds.com, Mark, a senior producer, at the time, oversaw the team that developed the first video to appear on the Edmunds.com site. He was also a producer for two of CNET’s technology focused television shows - "The New Edge" with Ryan Seacrest and "Cool Tech" with Daphne Brogdon and Desmond Crisis. "The New Edge" covered the latest technology where Mark was responsible for producing segments ranging from Fuel Cell cars to Robotic medicine. "Cool Tech" featured the hottest new gear and gizmos including segments on in-line skating and underwater scooters among others. Mark received the 2000 CNET Networks Achievement award and the 2004 CNET Networks Excellence Award, which acknowledge extraordinary contributions to the company by individuals who have performed at the highest level to move the business.

Dalen Harrison, CEO, Ensequence: Dalen Harrison's vision and leadership have been the driving force behind the growth and success of Ensequence. Since co-founding the company in 2000, he has led the organization and its strategic direction. Harrison inspired the development on-Q® software, the world's first truly cross-platform technology for interactive television. Prior to founding Ensequence, Harrison held a wide range of key positions during his tenure with Intel Corporation. He holds a master's in international management and finance, a bachelor's in math and economics and a bachelor's in computer science. As head of worldwide market development for Intel's Home Products Group, Harrison oversaw digital television marketing strategy and sales teams. He was the impetus behind the formation of Intel's Content Group and secured more than 50 content and technology contracts for Intel's Broadcast Products Group. Harrison played a key role in the launch of Intel's Intercast® Technology, the first interactive television software that was broadly available for the PC, which was supported by 12 national cable and broadcast networks, including NBC, CNN, MTV and QVC. In 1998, Harrison oversaw the formation of the Advanced Television Enhancement Forum (ATVEF), an alliance of leading companies dedicated to advancing interactivity, including Microsoft, DIRECTV, The Walt Disney Company, Warner Brothers, CNN Interactive and Tribune.

MIHAI CRASNEANU is the founder and CEO of glowria, France's leading provider of personalized on-demand entertainment. The first company in France to offer an online DVD rental service on a large scale, glowria provides subscribers with an unrivalled selection of titles. The company launched its video on demand platform at the end of 2005, and is now expanding its capabilities to provide VoD and IPTV offerings for cinema, television series, and theater programming through its website, ISPs, and cable operators. Prior to creating glowria in 2002, Mihai was vice president of international development for UOL, an online content and service provider in Brazil. He was responsible for a budget of $25 million and an international team of 150 people. Key accomplishments included overseeing the launch of UOL in five Latin American countries, the USA and Spain. Within two years, UOL became the leading ISP and portal in Latin America, ahead of AOL and Terra. Before joining UOL, Mihai founded an Argentine IT company, MCC ONE. The company specialised in electronic messaging and developed and implemented Latin America's first webmail platform for clients including Telefónica. Prior to founding MCC ONE, Mihai was an IT consultant for companies such as Intel Europe, TotalFinaElf, Renault, Saint-Gobain and BNP Paribas. Mihai is a Romanian-born French citizen. He speaks six languages and has a degree in engineering from EFREI (Paris).
