Mike Burns, CEO & Chief Creative Officer, Fuel Industries: After seven years as Chief Creative Officer at Fuel and five more in Creative Director roles at pioneering interactive agencies, Mike Burns has developed the reputation as one of the top creative minds in interactive marketing and branded entertainment. He has worked with agencies and brands from around the continent on projects ranging from branded games to full-blown 3D multi-user experiences. He has been recognized numerous times for his creative approach to game development, and has been the recipient of several awards, including the 2003 World Mail Awards for Internet Commerce and several Promo! Awards for Fuel’s work with Pepsi and Panasonic. In addition, Fuel was one of the finalists for Billboard Digital Entertainment Awards’ Advergame of the Year for its work with SAAB. Most recently, Fuel has developed cutting-edge online creative for such world-class brands as Sprite, GAP, Hershey’s Take Five candy bar and Discovery Channel Canada as well as entertainment properties including Fox’s Family Guy and American Dad and HBO’s Deadwood. Mike is a highly requested speaker and panelist for marketing and gaming conferences across North America, and most recently spoke at E3 Expo in Los Angeles and Casuality in Seattle, Washington.

Steve Ronson was appointed Executive Vice President, Enterprises of A&E Television Networks in September 2006. Mr. Ronson manages AETN Enterprises which encompasses AETN International, AETN Consumer Products and the Interactive Services Group. In addition, Mr. Ronson oversees the company’s global Digital Media activities, including broadband video, short form syndication and wireless applications. Mr. Ronson has been instrumental in developing AETN’s burgeoning digital media business both in the US and internationally. The company’s broadband and wireless partnerships include iTunes, Amp’d, AOL Video, Google Video Europe, Sky Mobile TV (UK), T-Online Vision (Germany), and MobiTV (US and Latin America). During his tenure at AETN, Mr. Ronson spearheaded the launch of the AETN channel brand, Crime & Investigation Network™. The channel debuted on January 1, 2005 in Australia on the FOXTEL platform and is also available in the US, the UK and Turkey. He also led negotiations for the launch of The History Channel® in Germany on the Kabel Digital Home platform in November 2004. Under Mr. Ronson’s management, A&E Home Video embarked on an aggressive acquisition strategy which saw the label license the rights to such acclaimed television franchises as Homicide: Life on the Street (NBC), Monty Python’s Flying Circus, the complete Gerry Anderson library (Carlton), Mr. Bean (Tiger Aspect), the Thames Library, which comprises 1,000 hours of programming including The Benny Hill Show (FremantleMedia), The Prisoner (Carlton), Kids in the Hall (Broadway Video), and many others. He also led A&E Home Video’s expansion into sports and music which has led to partnerships with leading content suppliers including Major League Baseball, Collegiate Images (Notre Dame Football) and Paul McCartney. Mr. Ronson further extended the company’s e-commerce and home video businesses with the launch of The DVD Library, a home video industry-first program created to satisfy the needs of the burgeoning home entertainment marketplace. Leveraging the award-winning programming from A&E®, Biography® and The History Channel, The DVD Library offers consumers a vast collection programming never before released on DVD, all published on the DVD+R format. Exclusively available on ShopAETV.com, The DVD Library now features over 1,000 titles. Steve Ronson joined A&E Television Networks in July 2000 as Vice President & General Manager of AETN Consumer Products, and was appointed Senior Vice President of AETN Enterprises in December 2004.

Hamet A. Watt is the Chief Executive Officer of NextMedium™, Inc., the leading provider of technology and standards for brand integration. An authority in the area of alternative media, Watt is frequently requested to educate media companies on the changing landscape of entertainment, and the need for new approaches to revenue generation. Prior to NextMedium, Watt was a General Partner and Vice President of Business Development at an international private equity investment firm with capital under management in excess of $120 million. Mr. Watt focused on all of the firm's technology and telecom related investments while also working on the formation of new investment partnerships.

Michael Rolnick, Partner, ComVentures: Michael Rolnick focuses his investments on infrastructure and software opportunities in the enterprise, wireless and consumer segments. Michael's recent investments and board seats include Active Reasoning, Azul Systems, Caymas Systems, MarketTools, MonoSphere, Sonopia and Vyatta. Prior investments and board seats include Archipelago (acquired by NYSE), Critical Path (Nasdaq: CPTH); Digital Island (acquired by Cable & Wireless); IntruVert Networks (acquired by McAfee); Kagoor Networks (acquired by Juniper Networks); and P-Cube (acquired by Cisco). Prior to joining ComVentures, Michael served as Vice President for New Ventures at E*TRADE Group, Inc. In that role, he was responsible for merger, acquisition and joint venture activities, new business development, and strategic investments. Prior to E*TRADE, Michael was with Braxton Associates and Montgomery Securities. He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a BA from the University of Michigan.

Joyce A. Schwarz is an author/speaker/consultant and one of the leaders in the emerging entertainment and media arena. She heads JCOM, a new product launch and branding consulting firm located in Marina Del Rey, California. Joyce has created marketing and advertising campaigns for more than 100 consumer and B2B technologies and products ranging from emusic.com to projects for Philips, France Telecom & AT&T. She combines more than 20 years experience in advertising and marketing for international ad agencies such as Foote Cone & Belding with a masters degree in film from USC and extensive production experience in film, television, video and interactive. She wrote "Reinventing Hollywood" for the NAB in 1992 and then co-wrote "Multimedia: Gateway to the Next Millennium" in 1993, "How to Break Into the New Hollywood" in 1995. Her latest book is "Cutting the Cord: Guide to Going Wireless" Que Publishing, June 2002. Schwarz is well known as a business writer and colu! mnist for more than 150 articles in such publications as: Business 2.0, Conferenza, Digitrends.net, 'Christian Science Monitor", 'Sales and Marketing' (SAM), LA Times and more. She was the chair and organizer for the first Paris, France Internet/ITV conference from 1995-1997, Digital Day LA , 1993-1996 and is a popular keynote speaker at such conferences as the Invention Convention and the San Diego Computer Fair. She specializes in developing partnerships and alliances for emerging entertainment and new technologies.

Tejpaul Bhatia is the founder of Tej Media Networks, Inc., a production studio that specializes in multi-platform story-telling. A multi-platform story is designed to be experienced across all consumer entertainment touch-points: television, broadband, and mobile device. Tejpaul was most recently a senior manager of international business strategy for ESPN New Media. He was responsible for identifying new business opportunities, increasing distribution and usage of ESPN's video platforms, and extending ESPN's new media products globally. Tejpaul joined ESPN in 2002 to build the underlying infrastructure for acquiring and distributing video for multiple digital platforms, and was integral in conceiving, developing and distributing ESPN360, the company’s customizable broadband service. Prior to ESPN, Tejpaul co-founded Media Strategy Partners, LLC, a media asset management consulting company that continues to serve US broadcasters. Before starting Media Strategy Partners, he was a consultant at Scient and then at Sekani, where he served as a digital media architect for professional sports leagues and the Olympics. Tejpaul holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Columbia University. He is an active member of the Make-A-Wish foundation as a wish-granter and a member of the New Leadership Council. He also volunteers internationally with GlobeAware. Tejpaul is involved in entertainment industry diversity initiatives like OASA and NAMIC.
