Kenneth Papagan, Executive Vice President, Corporate, Business Development & S trategic Planning Rentrak Corporation: Mr. Papagan is responsible for incubating, implementing and driving operations of all new business initiatives and setting the strategic direction of Rentrak Corporation, a leader in audience measurement tracking media consumption across numerous distribution platforms including, Theatrical Film, Home Video, On Demand Content, and Advertising. Ken was a founding executive for the start-up of 9 television networks including Nickelodeon, MTV, ON TV, and the JCPenny Shopping Channel where he was Co-Executive Producer. For the past 10 years, Ken has been primarily focused on Digital Media across all platforms globally working with such clients as AT&T, Broadband, USWest, Bloomberg, Flextech and others. Among his accomplishments at Rentrak are the launches of Retail Essentials and OnDemand Essentials, which is currently aggregating VOD viewer usage data for more than 50% of the VOD, enabled cable universe, including Comcast, Cablevision and others. The service is currently processing overnight On Demand data representing 32 million set top boxes. The service has garnered 42 content providing clients including NBC/Universal, CBS, MTV, Paramount, and Warner Brothers. He is currently developing New Business in On Demand Advertising and Linear Television audience measurement.
Scott Radcliffe, Director, Communications Intelligence Solutions, SAS: Scott Radclif fe is Director of Communications Intelligence Solutions for SAS, the world leader in customer intelligence and analytics. Scott heads the communications, media & entertainment practice, enabling SAS customers to optimize the customer experience value chain. He is a recognized thought leader, who has been focused on digital customer insight for the last decade, as well as on how disruptive technologies such as interactive TV, mobile broadband, and IP are impacting the economics of customer experience management. Prior to joining SAS, he was the Director of Decision Sciences for the Customer Life Cycle group at Nextel where he helped develop targeting systems and predictive models used to drive mobile content marketing, while driving monthly customer churn down by over 40%. Driving the development of integrated customer intelligence systems at MediaOne, Scott enabled performance improvements in marketing and service delivery for interactive media products. Scott also served as a Product Development director at AT&T Broadband, where he led the testing and market launch of Interactive TV services on both Motorola and Cisco (Scientific- Atlanta) platforms. Scott held multiple management positions at GTE Wireless, receiving Customer Excellence awards for driving the use of customer intelligence to enhance the individual customer experience. With this experience he understands how enterprise customer intelligence can drive the cross-functional synergy required to enable customer-driven organizations to think and act quickly and systematically to solve business problems. With undergraduate and graduate degrees in sociology and quantitative methods, Radcliffe began his career as a behavioral modeling analyst, designing customer models and conducting business optimization studies in the energy, media, banking and travel industries.
Dr. Nimrod Kozlovski, Strategy and Legal Affairs, Oversi. With Oversi, Dr. Kozlovski specializes in P2P Content Distribution Platforms and implementation of P2P-based solutions for the ISPs. He is also a consultant to start-up companies, researcher and lecturer in the fields of Internet and Information law and Information Security. He received his Doctor degree in law (J.S.D) from Yale Law School and conducted his Post-Doc research in computer science as an associate in the Computer Science Department at Yale University. He teaches and consults in the fields of digital media and Internet law. He is the author of the book "The Computer and the Legal Process" (Israeli Bar Association), co-editor of the forthcoming book on Computer Crime (NYU Press, ed: Jack Balkin et el.) and numerous articles on internet, copyright, privacy law and information security. He was an Adjunct Professor for CyberCrime at New York Law School and is currently a lecturer in Cyberlaw and E-Commerce at Tel Aviv University. He clerked for the Supreme Court's Vice President Dr. Michael Cheshin. Kozlovski is also a fellow of the Information Society Project at Yale Law School and an Editor of the International Journal of Communications Law and Policy. Oversi is a leading company in content distribution and traffic optimization on Peep to Peer (P2P) infrastructure. It provides a comprehensive grid-based platform for to the ISP for content distribution, caching and online storage solutions.
David Rosenberg, Director of Emerging Media, JWT: David Rosenberg is the Director of Emerging Media at JWT (formerly known as J. Walter Thompson) in New York. Currently at JWT for almost two years, David is focusing on social media, viral marketing programs, mobile, and gaming while utilizing new media technologies to deliver strategic branding solutions on behalf of clients. In addition, David constructed the marketing wire frame for The Nursery (thenursery.tv), a creative incubation and experimentation lab that creates original animation content in order aggregate audiences on and offline. In January 2006, David also established a business relationships companies including Google and was able to open one of the early content distribution for-sale stores on the Google Video site. Other important JWT responsibilities include creating strategic partnerships and fully integrated programs including the eBay and Dominos program (anythinggoesdeal.com) campaign. David serves on the nominating committee for the National Television and Arts and Sciences with a focus on the for Emmy Awards in given in the field of Technology and Engineering. Further, David also served as a presenter at the 2006 Awards Ceremony. David sits on the WPP North American Gaming Advisory Panel, participates in JWT corporate new business projects and leads periodic corporate initiatives including a viral program launched in partnership with The Huffington Post. Prior to JWT, David lived and worked in San Francisco for eight years and finished up as Account Director on Electronic Arts flagship brand EA Sports for Odiorne Wilde Narraway + Partners/See Advertising. In this role, David guided the development of the EA Sports brand strategy, ran integrated advertising campaigns, oversaw multiple platform/hardware transitions, served as North American brand liaison, guided a sub-brand launch for EA Sports BIG, participated in overall category growth, online gaming and brand dominance. By playing an integrated role within the Electronic Arts structure, David gained a strong understanding of video game business including design, production, development as well as non-traditional marketing. Earlier in his tenure in San Francisco, David also helped manage brands including Turner Classic Movies, Teva Sandals, Fogdog Sports, Moonstone Outerwear and Excite.com. Before moving to San Francisco, David lived and in his hometown of Miami Beach and worked at InterAction Media Corporations Campus INTERaction. At Campus INTERaction, David was involved with the development of college marketing and advertising programs that were supported by a network of interactive kiosks located on major university campuses nationwide.
Mark Ghuneim, CEO, Wiredset: Mark Ghuneim launched the online and mobile compan y Wiredset in 2004 after 16 years with Sony Music USA, where he was most recently Senior Vice President for Online Services. In that role, he created and implemented online marketing campaigns and was responsible for Sony Music's online sales. As Senior Vice President of Online & Emerging Technologies for Sony's Columbia Records Group, Ghuneim was instrumental in the careers of artists such as Destiny's Child, Jeff Buckley, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Billy Joel. Ghuneim has pioneered innovations in new media as the music industry has evolved during the past three decades. Before joining Sony, Ghuneim was Director of Press and Video Promotion for the legendary independent label Beggars Banquet Records. In the nascent days of music video, he was program director and production manager at the New York City video night club Private Eyes. Ghuneim has moderated numerous panels at industry gatherings and guest lectured at universities in Los Angeles and New York. He has worked as as a mentor with New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business. Ghuneim photographs have appeared in publications such as New Musical Express, the British music weekly.
