Dave Vockell, VP, Ad Strategy – Yahoo!: Dave Vockell has over fifteen years of marketing and interactive experience, with leadership roles at startups, Fortune 50 corporations, VCs and now Yahoo! His advertising and marketing insight is rooted in eight years at American Express working in the US, Europe and Asia – eventually holding the position of VP Interactive Strategy. Additionally, Mr. Vockell’s four years at Booz|Allen|Hamilton in their Media and Entertainment Practice included strategy and interactive initiatives at leading print, television and pure interactive companies. Today Dave works in the Corporate Development Group at Yahoo!, working with sales, tech, product and operations to continue to further Yahoo!’s leadership in connecting marketers and advertisers with their prospects and customers. Dave holds a degree in Economics and Computer Studies from Northwestern University.

Scott Kessler
is an equity analyst and group head at Standard & Poor’s Equity Research. He covers the Internet Software & Services and Internet Retail sub-industries, having joined the company in July 1998. With more than eight years experience following technology stocks, including nearly seven years analyzing the Internet industry, Scott’s coverage includes CNET Networks, EarthLink, eBay, Google, IAC/InterActiveCorp, RealNetworks, VeriSign, and Yahoo. He also authors the bi-annual industry survey entitled, "Computers: Consumer Services & the Internet." Scott was recognized by The Wall Street Journal in its Best on the Street 2003 Analysts Survey as the top analyst covering General Industrial Services for his work on data-processing technology stocks. He is regularly relied upon as an expert by media including Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, The Financial Times, Investor’s Business Daily, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal, as well as numerous local U.S. periodicals and international outlets. Scott was a panelist at the 2004, 2005 and 2006 New York Media Summits. Prior to becoming an equity analyst, Scott worked as a legislative fellow to the Vice Chairman of House Telecommunications & Finance subcommittee, handling issues related to technology and telecommunications. Thereafter, he worked for a private law firm in Washington, D.C. as a telecommunications attorney, representing clients including SBC Communications, Time Warner and The Walt Disney Company. Scott graduated from Brandeis University in 1992 and received a law degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1995.

Mike Walsh, CEO and Founder, drives vision and corporate innovation for Leverage Software. As a pioneer in Online Communities, Mr. Walsh has been instrumental in developing revolutionary business applications for social networking including audience generation, customer loyalty creation, word of mouth marketing, and brand building. Prior to founding Leverage Software, Mr. Walsh was co-founder and Vice President of Sales at mvion and Vice President of Sales and Business Development for ProjectArena which develops professional services automation applications to improve productivity and profitability of services organizations. Mr. Walsh holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and MBAs from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley and Columbia University.

Baris Karadogan, Partner, ComVentures: Baris Karadogan focuses on identifying investment, opportunities in the Internet, new media and mobile, markets as well as supporting existing ComVentures, portfolio companies., , Baris joined ComVentures from U.S. Venture Partners, where he was a board member of Minerva Networks, and, worked closely with companies such as Podtech, Redline, Communications, Aspendos Communications, Dilithium, Networks, Maxxan Systems and Ciphertrust., , Prior to U.S. Venture Partners, Baris worked in both, engineering and marketing at 3Com/U.S. Robotics, where, he helped to develop the company's networking and, cable industry products. His work at U.S. Robotics, resulted in a number of U.S. patents. Fluent in, English and Turkish, Baris sits on the board of, directors of Friends of Anatolia, a nonprofit, supporting education in Turkey, and is active in the, Turkish-American Community., , Baris earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from, Lafayette College, where he graduated summa cum laude., Karadogan also earned an M.S. in Electrical, Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from, the Stanford University Graduate School of Business,, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar., Baris writes a blog titled From Istanbul to Sand Hill, Road (http://baris.typepad.com) which focuses on high, technology, venture capital, innovation and, creativity.

Ron Bloom is a former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of THINK New Ideas, a company he founded with PodShow co founder and "PodFather", Adam Curry. As a founding partner of THINK, Bloom helped develop the company’s business strategy and market positioning, in addition to leading the company to its IPO and forward to become one of the largest and most successful interactive marketing and e-business solutions providers in the world. He helped to build the Company to over 500 employees working out of 8 offices in the US and abroad, driving revenues from a start-up to approaching $100 million in less than three years. Bloom led the company through venture rounds, an IPO, multiple acquisitions, a private placement of public equity, and, eventually the sale of the company for an estimated $350 million. Prior to joining THINK New Ideas, Bloom again partnered with Mr. Curry, acting as President and Chief Operating Officer of On Ramp, one of the world’s first and most prestigious Internet solutions providers. Bloom directed the company in its Internet and intranet pioneering efforts, creating the world’s first Cybercast (1995 Grammy Awards), integrating next-generation marketing and communications into online communications, and helping On Ramp become one of FORTUNE Magazine’s "Top 25 Emerging Technology Companies of 1995." In recent years, Ron Bloom has worked with a range of companies, helping to develop technologies for the cable industry as well as helping to launch a company that provides technology solutions for Homeland Security. In 2005, Bloom again joined long time partner Adam Curry to create PodShow.

Joel Toledano, Co-founder & CEO, Krillion : Prior to founding Krillion, Joel was the Director of Business Development and chief negotiator for the Yahoo! Search business unit, where he was responsible for establishing and managing strategic partnerships to identifying, developing and executing new revenue-producing channels and business initiatives with both startups and established companies. When he left Yahoo after nearly 5 years, his accomplishments included the #1 deals in each of Yahoo!'s Search, Access and subscription services businesses. In addition, he previously managed day-to-day aspects of the company's sponsored search relationship with Overture Services prior to Yahoo!'s acquisition of the company. Prior to his work for Yahoo! Search, Joel worked in business development for Yahoo! Consumer Services, where he was responsible for development and implementation of Yahoo!-branded Internet access services including services offered through alliances with SBC and other broadband and narrowband providers. Before joining Yahoo!, Joel ran business development for Rentals.com until it was acquired by Primedia in 2001. Prior to that, Joel was an attorney with Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, where he represented and advised public and private companies, successfully navigating companies through a series of high-profile IPOs and acquisitions.

Amy McDonough, Director, Webshots Services, CNET Networks Inc.: Amy McDonough, Director of Webshots Services, is responsible for all aspects of Webshots Services including premium subscriptions, The Webshots Store, Webshots Mobile, and Webshots Premium services & Application Programming Interface (API) services. These four areas combine to be a multi-million dollar services revenue stream today and are used and accessed by millions of users. In August 2004, she received the CNET Networks Excellence Awards, which acknowledge extraordinary contributions to the company by individuals who have performed at the highest level to move the business. Previously at CNET Networks, McDonough was the Director of Strategic Partnerships for CNET Networks where she oversaw a team of ten who supported more than 75 long-term strategic relationships with top companies such as MSN, New York Times Digital, and AOL. She was also responsible for increasing exposure of the CNET Networks brands through paid search, RSS distribution, strategic partnerships and mobile opportunities. Earlier, McDonough was the Managing Producer of Strategic Partnerships for ZDNet where she lead the team responsible for building exports of content, co-branded and private label website solutions, and balancing partner needs while maintaining branding and attribution with the highest possible quality. Also at ZDNet, she was the Production Manager where she managed a team of production editors who provided online support to international licensing efforts of Ziff-Davis publications. McDonough has a Bachelor's Degree in English and Elementary Education from Merrimack College in Andover, MA as well as a Professional Certificate in Integrated Marketing Communications from the UC Berkeley Extension program.

CRAIG E. ENGLER, Senior Vice President, SCIFI.COM & SCI FI Magazine: Craig E. Engler was named Senior Vice President, SCIFI.COM and SCI FI Magazine in February 2006. Mr. Engler is responsible for the digital growth and expansion of SCI FI, including the continued development of original online content, and the launch of a new broadband network. Under Mr. Engler's leadership, SCI FI Channel has been on the forefront of digital technology with innovations like the critically acclaimed 'Battlestar Galactica' podcast and videoblog by the show's executive producers and the expansion of the daily entertainment news service Sci Fi Wire. Engler began working with SCI FI in 1997 as a consultant and joined them full time in 1999 after the Channel acquired his online publication business. The award-winning SCIFI.COM is both the official site of the SCI FI Channel and also the largest general interest sci-fi website in the world. It has won numerous awards including the "people's choice" Webby, the Flash Forward Award and the Nebula Award (the first time it was awarded for an electronically published story). Recently, the site won a prestigious Hugo Award, an annual recognition handed out by sci-fi fans at the World Science Fiction Convention. Besides offering in-depth info about all of SCI FI's original programming, the site also provides content about the entire sci-fi genre including reviews of the latest books and films; daily news; an events calendar with hundreds of listings; and more. Prior to joining SCIFI.COM full-time in 1999, Mr. Engler founded Science Fiction Weekly, the first Internet magazine devoted to science fiction. While serving as its publisher & editor, the weekly was named best sci-fi 'zine on the Internet by Yahoo! Internet Life. It was sold to the SCI FI Channel in 1999. From 1994 to 1997 Mr. Engler worked for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), where his last position was Electronic Publishing Editor for IEEE Spectrum, their flagship magazine. Prior to his stint with IEEE, he held several positions in journalism. As a freelance writer, Mr. Engler's credits range from 'The New York Times' to 'Wired.' In addition, for four years he served as an "expert editor" for Amazon.com, and he also consulted for Yahoo! Internet Life. He is a regular speaker at events like Digital Hollywood, Blog-On and the Digital Media Summit, and has participated in the AFI's Enhanced Television program. Mr. Engler graduated with a dual B.A. degree in Magazine Journalism and English from the S.I. Newhouse School at Syracuse University.
