| Tuesday, March 28 12:30 PM 1:45 PM Track IV: IPTV Emergence The Broadband, Telco, Cable, Studio Content & Technology Strategy IPTV is another technology which both enhances the current technology and programming services for the industry and consumer, while at the same time, it brings about a basic shift in the understanding of what the broadband delivery and content experience will be for the consumer. As the consumer receives an ever greater array of content services in the home, being offered by cable, telco, satellite and IP provider, the invisible technology infrastructure behind that service is often migrating to an IP based technology. The result is a greater flexibility of services provided and an ever greater expectation by the consumer of better service and programming innovation. Ultimately this leads to the expectation by the consumer of a having all content, traditional cable, broadband and mobile on all devices at all times. That is both the promise and the challenge of IPTV.
