David Jensen, Vice President of Business Development, Zetools: David Jensen's 15 years of experience in the delivery of information, interactive media and entertainment has made him a leading member of many industries. Most recently in the consulting world, he built and led Razorfish's Broadband/Future Television practice, in addition to managing Razorfish's Media and Entertainment practice for North America. Under his leadership, his team helped more than 100 media companies with technology, strategy and branding solutions. Clients included: DirecTV, Sony, Columbia Tri-Star International, I-Blast, News Corp, Fox, HBO, RAI, BSKYB, Arte, ZDF, Tivo and Vivendi/Universal. Prior to Razorfish, Mr. Jensen worked in the education sector creating interactive and community network initiatives for the world's largest operating foundation, the J. Paul Getty Trust. Projects ranged from building community networks to launching broadband and interactive television channels for education. Partnerships included working with Library of Congress, California Arts Council, American Film Institute, Xerox PARC, GTE, NEC, Oracle, Liberate, PBS, Time Warner Music and Disney. Trained as an architect and media-maker, Mr. Jensen previously worked as a designer for architectural firms Richard Meier and Partners and Kohn, Pederson and Fox, New York; Zaha Hadid, London and Frank Israel, Los Angeles. He has also produced and designed films, music videos, interactive media and television for HBO, MTV, Universal, PBS, Fox and Alive, among others. Mr. Jensen holds a B.Sc. from the University of Houston and a M.Arch. from Harvard University.

Seth Haberman, founder & President, Visible World: Regarded as a leading visionary and strategist within the television industry, Seth founded Visible World in 1999 to redefine how advertising is produced and delivered so that it is more relevant and effective. Seth's innovative approach to television advertising has been recognized by leading media industry analyst Jack Myers, who identified Visible World as one of the top 25 media innovators of 2003, and in March of 2004, Media Magazine included Seth as part of the "Top 100 People to Know in Media." Seth has also been featured as a speaker The MIT Forum, RVC Technology Conference and at the ANA’s Advertising Management committee meeting on "Innovations that Marketers must be familiar with." Prior to founding Visible World, Seth was founder of Montage Group, where he invented and licensed seminal non-linear editing technologies to all of the leading manufacturers of non-linear editing systems (such as Avid and FinalCut Pro). Montage’s innovative work earned an Academy Award for technological achievement in 1987, and an Emmy Award in 1993. Seth earned a BA in physics and Computer Science in 1981 from Columbia College, Columbia University.

Aslam Khader, VP, Marketing and Strategy, Ensequence: Aslam Khader's international business experience spans the globe, having lived and worked in India, Japan and the United States throughout his career. He has held positions in engineering, marketing, business development and business management during his 17 years in high technology. Khader leads cross-functional teams, builds strategic partnerships, implements business processes and develops high-quality employees at Ensequence. In his most recent position as vice president of product marketing at Intertrust Technologies, Khader established product processes, product roadmaps and product requirements that established Intertrust as a pioneer in digital rights management technologies. At IBM and Sequent Computer Systems, he increased revenue to more than $300 million in three years. A fluent English, Hindi, Bengali and Japanese speaker, Khader has been invited to speak at numerous industry events and has been published in a number of magazines. In Japan, he established a UNIX engineering organization and represented Japanese interests at various X/Open forums. In India, Khader's group played an instrumental role in popularizing UNIX by implementing innovative, cost-effective solutions using UNIX systems. Khader holds a bachelor's in electronics and electrical engineering with honors from the Indian Institute of Technology.

JODIE MCAFEE, Vice President Business Development, Turner Media Group: In February 2005, Jodie McAfee joined Turner Media Group (TMG) as Vice President of Business Development. McAfee is responsible for focusing on the corporate development of client relationships for Turner Media Group’s operating divisions. Prior to TMG, McAfee served as Managing Partner and Vice President of Content Acquisitions at Cayde & Associates, LCC where he was responsible for the development and distribution of niche broadband video channels. Previously, McAfee served as Vice President of Broadband Sales for Soundbite Communications, Inc. and was responsible for all business developments in the cable and satellite sector. He has also held positions at Crown Media International and Columbia Tri-Star Television.

Jack Perry, President & Chief Executive Officer, Decisionmark: Since 1996, Jack Perry has successfully guided Decisionmark from startup to a highly profitable business. Mr. Perry has long been acknowledged as a media technology visionary known for his work with high-growth, technology-based companies such as Powercore, CE Software, and Interactive Resources. He is also noted for his Electronic Program Guide (EPG) innovations, for his work in the digital TV sector, and for his groundbreaking efforts regarding issues surrounding the SHVIA. Mr. Perry is also a respected figure inside the beltway for having educated legislators and members of the FCC on digital and satellite broadcast issues. He has been the lead inventor in the development of Decisionmark's growing number of patented technologies. The first patent covers household determination of broadcast signals delivered via satellite, others are key to solving issues related to broadcast signals delivered via the Internet or advancing the EPG to the household level. The most recent patent covers off-air antenna selection at the household level, a very timely patent due to resurgence of over-the-air broadcasting with the emergence of the transition to digital TV. These technologies have served as the basis for several Decisionmark innovations, all developed under the leadership of Mr. Perry, including TitanTV.com. The TitanTV EPG is the premiere online program guide with PVR capabilities having nearly half of a million users and placement on nearly 1,000 TV station web sites. It is the only guide that is updated in real-time by broadcasters who use Decisionmark's proprietary program scheduling tool. Mr. Perry has been a regular presenter at broadcast and technology conferences across the U.S., including: Streaming Media East and West, Kagan's Digital Household Summit, CES and Digital Hollywood. Mr. Perry has also been named a member of the Consumer Electronics Association's Academy of Digital Television Pioneers. In October 2005, Mr. Perry was the Keynote Speaker at the DTV Symposium. Mr. Perry was recently nominated by the Consumer Electronic Association's Academy of Digital Television Pioneers (the DTV Academy) for its 2004 Best DTV Leadership (Industry) Award. A resident of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Mr. Perry earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from the University of Iowa.

Colin Dixon, Senior Analyst & IPTV Practice Manager, Specialty: Enhanced TV Applications: Mr. Dixon brings a wealth of knowledge on the rich media, DTV and IPTV spaces to The Diffusion Group. He has held senior executive positions at Microsoft/WebTV, Liberate and Oracle where he was responsible for technology and business teams delivering to the Cable, Satellite and IPTV industries. Over the last 16 years he has led various corporate departments including engineering, business development, product and program management and marketing. Recently, Mr. Dixon has been consulting with a number of companies on a variety of projects. For one of the most prominent cable companies in the world he did a 360o report on a European Satellite operator’s Guide and Interactive television businesses. For a Korean DVB-MHP and OCAP middleware provider he has been acting as an Executive Advisor on strategy and business development including presenting at several shows and conferences on their behalf. In his consulting practice he focuses on business alignment, market strategy, business development, contract negotiation and company evangelism. He has just released an in-depth report called Program Guides at the Crossroads: The IPG Gets Personal. Mr. Dixon graduated from the University of Reading in England with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He holds a Masters in Engineering from the University of Florida and has post-graduate business education experience from Stanford. He is the author of many opinion pieces as well as books and magazine articles and is an accomplished speaker including presentations at major industry shows such as NAB and IBC.

Bill Niemeyer, Chief of Analysis and Research, DiMA Group: Bill Niemeyer is the Chief of Analysis and Research of The DiMA Group. Bill provides DiMA Group clients and program members with research, information, analysis and insights to assist them in making critical tactical and strategic decisions regarding DVRs, VOD and other advanced TV services. Bill has been in the interactive and new media industry since 1991. Previous to joining The DiMA Group, Bill founded Centrimedia, a consultancy focused on DVR, VOD and Interactive TV and their impacts on television industry business models. His clients there included Fortune 100 firms and investment funds. Prior to founding Centrimedia, Bill was a key member of the executive team at Spiderdance, a leading provider of infrastructure and technology to television networks for creating and operating interactive TV programming. Venture-funded Spiderdance developed and deployed six groundbreaking and award-winning ITV enabled series for TV networks including "Weakest Link" for NBC, "No Boundaries" for WB and "webRIOT" for MTV. Bill has also been a member of the team at venture-funded firms in PC/platform gaming and 3D virtual community technologies. Bill is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. He is a regular panel moderator and speaker at industry events including the Consumer Electronics Show, NAB, Digital Hollywood, the European Broadcast Union PVR Seminar in Geneva and the Siemens PVR Outlook Conference in Munich.
